  1. I have to admit, my stay here exceeded my expectations. Despite reading some less than stellar reviews beforehand, I was pleasantly surprised. The parking lot was spacious, with 24/7 security keeping a watchful eye to ensure both cars and the premises were safe. The lobby was well-maintained and staffed by two helpful desk agents who were polite, knowledgeable, and had a positive attitude. My room was impeccably clean, with a fresh, fully stocked bathroom, spotless bed sheets, and a seemingly brand-new carpet. The hotel was in the process of renovations, which I found to be a positive sign of improvement. I must give special recognition to Miss Danielle, who went above and beyond to assist me. Her kindness, professionalism, and expertise in hotel policies and procedures made me believe she was the manager. I was truly impressed by her and will definitely return to stay here again when I’m back in town.

  2. The hotel was the host hotel for our family reunion. The location was not the best however the service received was great. The front desk staff, bar service, catering and housekeeping, everyone was very nice. The rooms need to be upgraded but they were okay. The game room was a plus and great for everyone. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated as well. The banquet room was very spacious and was able to accommodate our large group. Our family was very thankful to have assistance from JOVANNA throughout our stay. She did an excellent job providing great service. She is a very hardworking young lady which allowed everything to run smoothly. Everything was prepared and set up on time. She was very attentive to our needs even though she was doing everything by herself. I recommend asking for Jovanna if you are having an event at the hotel. 💯 Overall the stay was good.

  3. This is an older inn. My room was large and well furnished. King bed was very comfortable with clean linens. All flat surfaces in room had glass tops making them easy to clean. Air conditioning worked well as did the TV. Full width windows were covered with a tinted material that had seen better days and needed to be replaced. Even though the inn is located close to airport and I-20 the room was quiet and comfortable. Staff was easy to work with and polite. The real surprise was the restaurant in the bar. It was well priced and food was outstanding.

  4. This hotel isn’t awful, but is definitely showing its age.

We checked in; the lobby was nice and had a popcorn machine. Annoyingly, the pool was “closed for renovations.” Well, those supposed “renovations” clearly hadn’t started happening yet. Then we went up to our room, which smelled old and musty. The tint wrap was peeling off the windows. I’m not a big fan of the ceiling tiles in the entryway and bathroom, because they look dated. The rest of the room doesn’t look dated though. Another thing I’m not a fan of is the access panel behind the shower head in the bathroom, because it looks industrial and uninviting. The shower knob, the shower head, and the toilet looked pretty old, like they could use a refresh. There was a crack in the stone wall of the shower. Aside from all that, the room wasn’t too bad. The beds were nice, and we noticed that the pillows were either labeled “soft” or “firm”, which is cool since people have different preferences. The breakfast buffet had a nice range of food, and the women working at it were nice. The bar and the pool table in the lobby was also nice.

Overall, this hotel could use some updates, but is clean, tidy, and is cheap for a family that needs to spend a night near the airport they’re flying out of.

  5. Super disappointed in this hotel. We chose this particular hotel because it was on our way home and it had a pool. Our boys love to swim and we wanted to be able to occupy our short stay with time at the pool. The posted sign within the pool area states that the pool closes at 10pm. At 9pm the security guard and manager come outside to tell us they are kicking everyone out and the pool area was closing. This upset me greatly. There was no problem with the pool, my children weren’t being unruly and were following the rules, and there was only one other couple in the pool. I’m also upset that there was no reason for this other than “get out”. Definitely not the correct way to run a hospitality business.
