This is a great hotel in a beautiful location. I loved the view from my window. The best part was the pool for me. Relaxing by a pool with a cool drink is not something I normally get to do. The bar ladies, Jamie & Elicia were the best!!! I felt very welcomed & they even listened to my cow stories & looked at pictures 🙄. That in itself deserves a gold star!!
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! We loved the location on the water and it was really easy to walk to places. Also close to the light rail which was convenient. Our room had a great bay view. We loved using the gym and the pool. Emily Carpenter at the pool club was the best! She provided amazing service, was so friendly, and was the reason we had a great pool day. We would love to come back someday!
I truly enjoyed staying at this hotel. The service and environment were great for our annual family trip to San Diego. The lounge was exceptional. The bell hop was kind and helpful. I love the safety security. The ferry to Coronado Island is right next to the hotel. From the ferry drop-off point, we were able to walk about a mile to Coronado Beach. It was a good experience. The only recommendation I have for the hotel would be to secure the parking garage parking for hotel guests during the parking craziness with the stadium next door.
The rooms were spacious and clean. I loved the option for them to text you when your room was ready and you already had a key, so you could just go up to your room after you received the message. They made everything pretty easy to check in and check out. They had plenty of things to do at the hotel for food and entertainment.
It’s a nice hotel. The location is great except for home baseball games and events at Petco. It seems as if the hotel garage is used for event parking. The biggest issue is both the hotel and the garage use the same entry and exit. It makes in-and-out tougher. The Valet service was great. The gym was nice. The general service, aside from my specific experience, was average. It was awkward being asked for a 25% tip on buying items at a mini-mart. My local grocery store doesn’t ask me to tip them at the checkout line.
My specific experience with service was a no-call, no-show to a locked bathroom door at 8am on checkout day… which is at 11am. We had to check out of our room before our bathroom was unlocked by the hotel.
