I had a kitchen sink clogged up. Googled and found Hiller Plumbing contact info to call. The receptionists were very friendly. They gave me the same day appointment on a Saturday. The technician arrived on the given time window. He was an experienced professional, friendly and happy guy. He resolved the problem promptly, cleaned everything like it was before. They were running a discounted special for this service. All that made me happy and a satisfied customer. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.
Carson and Johnathan provided excellent customer service on my recent diagnostic. We are facing a very complex plumbing issue, and they took a lot of time to inspect, diagnose, and explain in clear terms all of my options. They are probably the best service professionals I’ve ever interacted with across all trades. Kudos to you guys
I’ve had experience with the company for over 5 years with excellent 5-star service each and every time. Recently, I’ve run into septic issues, resulting in a replacement in a line. The quoted price was accurate and fair in addition to the service itself being great with no issues. However, post completion, multiple chunks of waste from the old broken pipe (presumably grease and toilet paper) were scattered in portions of my lawn resulting in both my dogs ingesting it followed by vomiting it out within multiple areas.
Edit: Bringing it to 5-star, up from the initial review. Hiller reached out to me, and the situation has been remedied.
We moved to AL two years ago. We have used various companies and individuals to do miscellaneous projects. Our experience has been mostly painful.
Today I was researching companies who could do some electrical work. I called and was told someone would come out the same day. I informed them it was not an emergency. They set it up as a same day call anyway. Then I get a call asking if they can come earlier😁.
The company sent me details of the tech prior to his arrival (felt super safe). The tech was professional and handled our project promptly. They charged a fair rate. He cleaned up after himself.
I would definitely use this company again and recommend them.
So I had two outdoor lights that went bad over the years from my sprinkler system and rain. When I looked into the container that was in the ground holding the wiring, the container was filled with water. So when the Hiller tech came out, he stated that he will make this water proof. So at the end of the task, I stated “so water will not intrude into the tank from the bottom where the cable enters”. He said, “well, no, water destroys everything overtime.” So I asked him, did you close up the hole where the cable enters the box?” He said no!
So when he took the top off of the container when he first arrived, the container that held the wiring, the tech had to dump a container full of water.
It would appear to me that one of the first things I would do is attempt to seal closed the bottom of the container where the water enters. The tech sealed the top of the container with silicone. Why not even attempt to seal the hole at the bottom.
Not a very good job! I can see I will be suffering this same loss again. He did say the wiring supposedly is water proof connections. We will see, because my sprinkler will wet that area and the wiring will be sitting in 5 inches of water.
