This place is very nice but I was told on the phone that everything on the patio was available to use but the big green eggs was chained closed as was the ice maker and fridge. The TV wouldnāt work so I called and was told the office was closed and someone would come the next day and take care of itā¦ā¦. We do sleep late but when I got up I went to check and the remote was in the exact same spot I left it and the TV still didnāt work.
Not a big deal as we had the outside TV on the Motorhome so that is where we stayed. Felt very unwelcome at the site by the owners and management

Loved the beach area, pup was delighted to play off leash.
One of the nicest motor coach resorts we have ever stayed in! The sites are all spacious and very well kept. All of the owners are friendly and accommodating and will strike up a conversation with you to make you feel welcome. The marina and beach area are super quaint and perfect for quiet times and boat watching. The resort is smaller with only about 70(?) spots, but the beautiful landscapes and gorgeous trees make you feel like you are in your own private world. Resort has security gates for safety which is a plus.
The first time my husband and I visited this resort we fell in love. The staff were very helpful getting us situated in our spot and made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone is very friendly. We were never made to feel unwanted or out of place. The beach is great, the pool and hot tub are awesome. They have boat slips you can rent, laundry,workout room and the grounds are beautiful. We have dogs and they were aloud on the beach without a leash. They have places with bags for you to clean up after your pet. Which is great. They offer so much moreā¦ We will continue to come here and have even talked about buying a piece of this beautiful place. AWESOME JOB RESORT HOST !!!

We booked in early February from what we saw on FB posts and reviews. Spoke over the phone & by email and at NO time was it mentioned that the beach was closed. As a matter of fact I inquired if dogs were allowed there. We booked here mostly for the beach amenities, being so convenient and all. I contacted the office to voice my concern and I was offered a token $50. Really? For what we spent for the week? Plus, construction at 6 am next to us with hammering, drilling with dust flying all over? We are very, very disappointed since Heritage considers themselves a āupscaleā resort. Some honest communication when booking would have been the decent thing to do instead of misleading customers. But, I have to say that we have met many kind owners and they completely understand our frustration and unfortunately have heard our story before. Donāt believe weāll be back again especially when we were mislead!
I see the owners reply that states I was offered a early checkout? No way that happened! We were never offered anything! Thatās whatās so disappointing, 1/2 truths and no ownership in what was promised at booking!!!!!!!
