Picked up my truck to install a NEW transmission on Nov. 17 2023 after having paid $2000 cash up front. Sent him another $500 while he was out of the country for the holidays, hoping that would hasten my vehicles return. Was told the wrong transmission was sent and that he was going to rebuild the previous and I was even fine with that. Nearly half a year later and he won’t respond to calls or messages . I had to drive over 200 miles (including out of pocket travel expenses) just to get a RESPONSE. This was yesterday; April 1, 2024, and no this is no April fools joke.
On top of everything, my vehicle still has the exact same problem, no third or fourth gear.
Completely disappointed seeing that the owner was supposed to be a lifelong friend, thinking I might be made a priority. I was just easy money and an ignorant victim.
From one business owner to another, I expect more. I expect SOMETHING.
Update: AAMCO TRANSMISSION AND TOTAL CAR CARE of north jackson got me back up and running in THREE DAYS! And at a cost equal to the same amount I was taken for. Thank you Willl and AAMCO!
My Mitsubishi is getting close to the 100K mileage and needed to have the regular maintenance done. So I started looking online and found the great reviews for Tony, gave him a call, and set up an appointment for him to come to me. Great way to have the maintenance done on my vehicle. I wasn’t rearranging work, sitting in a waiting room for hours and putting off all the things I could be getting done at home. Tony explained everything he was going to repair ahead of time and the cost, got the best parts quickly (and at a discount) and was all finished up within a couple of hours. Also, he helped me find an antenna on Amazon that I can simply order and replace myself. The same part that the dealership in Pensacola quoted as $124, on Amazon for $7.99, and I can replace it myself easily. I don’t think there could be a better experience having my car serviced. experienced, quick and efficient concierge service.

My vehicle became disabled and randomly started overheating at a stop light. I originally had it towed to pep boys in Foley who gave me an invoice of $325 for repair for new hoses. They called back the next day to say they ordered the wrong parts and the price will actually be over $1,000 for some heater hoses!!! I could Google the closest parts located to me for fifty dollars… I told them no thank you and towed it to Henley Motors. Tony was super easy to get in touch with and had my SUV repaired quickly and correct the first time! Being a single female, I have not met any honest mechanics any time I’ve needed a repair so it was nice to see that Tony gave me an actual honest price for parts and labor and actually fixed what needed to be fixed without messing around. Highly recommend.
Tony is AMAZING! We are from out town and on the way down, our car started pouring oil. We called Tony last minute and he said no problem give me a couple hours. He showed up and helped us right away! He deserves more than 5 stars!
