Had a wonderful stay at this beach resort. It is very family-friendly and walking distance from the beautiful beaches of Destin. It’s not right on the beach, but I think there’s another portion that is right on the beach. They had a very large pool area with a restaurant and bar outside located by the pool. Is also surrounded by a lazy river. The service was very good while we were here. We had a plated at steak and lobster dinner and it was absolutely delicious food. The rooms are not really my style because it is more of an old-fashioned look and I prefer the modern look. They had live entertainment at the upstairs bar. The property was well maintained and clean. They have an on site spa and multiple restaurants. Also they had crafts and lots of family friendly activities.I recommend and would definitely return.
This my first time visiting destin and Henderson Beach Resort made it amazing . It’s so close to crystal clear emerald coast beach access. The room had amazing view of the beach.
Staff were so friendly.
The Room they signed for us was just stunning with such a nice surprise gift cookies for our special day.
I would say the overall experience in Henderson Beach Resort have been excellent.

We’ve stayed at The Henderson at least once a year for the last 5 years and we highly recommend it to anyone. Great for couples, families, people of all ages and makeups. Staff is incredible, onsite amenities are great, and it’s so close to a private beach. Rooftop bar has A+ sunset views. Multiple pools including one that’s adult only. They are helpful, courteous, and welcoming. Highly recommend
It was the perfect anniversary with the Henderson Beach Resort! The location of the hotel is amazing with crystal clear beach access. The view from the Henderson Beach Resort is beautiful. We were greeted with friendly and professional staff. The room assigned to us, beautiful with amazing views and a surprise gift of champagne/chocolate covered strawberries for our special day. Our breakfast with Primrose, excellent! This will definitely be our place to stay when returning to Destin.
This is the fifth time we’ve been in 2 years and it’s become our favorite place. Unfortunately I don’t know if we’ll return. It’s very pricey but has always been worth it. Great wedding venue as many places like this are. This trip I was awakened at 3:30 from a peaceful nap on the beach telling me I had to relocate because of a 6:00 wedding. Move the wedding venue to a place where your paying customers won’t be inconvenienced! We were only two of the 50 people that were upset. It’s just not right. I’m paying hard earned money to stay here on my vacation and I have to move?!? The manger on duty Floyd smith would give me nothing for my inconvenience. Discount voucher. Dinner voucher. Anything? Said they don’t do that? Well I’ll find another amazing place to spend our money.
