The staff was very friendly! The place was clean and well kept. I liked how you could grab a Togo box or bowl on your own without having to ask. I will definitely go back. OH and the “Shut the Cluck Up” was HOT but it had soooo much good flavor. The potato salad and pimento Mac & cheese were so good also.
Alabama never disappoints and neither did Hattie B location in Birmingham, Alabama. Everything is good and the prices are reasonable. My fries in the picture were unseasoned and the fries were still good. I travel all across the country and Alabama is top tier when it comes to food.
Pit stop for lunch today on our way to the beach so we tried Hattie B’s. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Cashier at front counter was so helpful and courteous about menu. Food was good and our meal was served quick and fresh. Would recommend but choose your sauce level carefully!
The hot spice level had my nose running and sweat dripping down my forehead. My stomach was immediately in shambles. My brother ordered mild and stated the spice level was perfect. Grits was amazing 5/5. The greens were bland.
This place stacks up with the best hot chicken around. The chicken was crisp, the Mac n cheese, beans, and greens were all great too.
