I really enjoy staying at Hampton Inns on our trips. Rooms are always nice. I have noticed the exhaust fan covers in some bathrooms need cleaning as well as the lint from the hairdryer. The ones here are fine. A Buc-EEs is about a half mile away. The rooms do need more lamps.
Great hotel. I’m always impressed with the staff friendliness and how clean the rooms are. And you can’t beat the location if you’re heading over to Barber Motorsports (which you should). They even have a rotating display from the motorcycle museum – very cool! They have a pool, which is great if you’re traveling with kids. The breakfast is standard fare for a continental breakfast, but it’s done well.
This was the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in with no damage whatsoever. However, the bed faced the window and the window had no curtain, it was 2am when I woke to bright lights from a car parked in front of the room. My only other complaint the sheets and pillows while looking clean smelled like fish. The service was friendly and quick, the pool looked nice couldn’t go in due to lighting and the breakfast buffet was average.
The hotel is very nice but the staff were phenomenal! First off, I met back up with some fiends who had checked in the night before. I arrived around 9:30am and asked if could at least drop off my bags and John found me a room and gave me a super early check in. When we got back later, I found my ac was making a funny noise so the manager (Sarah?) found me a room right across the hall so I could move there easily. And she gave me a couple beers for the inconvenience! Great place, I highly recommend it.
Update: During my most recent stay, I enjoyed a warm and friendly staff, a clean room, and perfectly peaceful hallways!! Thank you so much for making everything perfect for my family and I to cool off in the pool, dine, and chat in the lobby and peaceful rest. Moreover, thank you so much for responding to my review here on Google and with your great service.
😊
First Review: The front desk attendant was very kind by allowing me to check-in a few minutes early because a room was available and he went further to find a room at the end of the hall away from traffic and noise. The room was clean and welcoming. Upon check out, the front desk attendant was professional, smiling, and ready to help. In the eatery, another attendant was watching the food to keep it hot and stocked for the guests. The muffins were surprisingly soft and moist and not wrapped in plastic like a convenient store treat.
I hate to mention this because everyone is different, but the bed was so hard that I had to sleep on the pillows.
Finally, I usually choose hotels over motels for the added peace and quiet, so it was an unpleasant surprise to hear housekeeping singing loudly as they were working and hollering down the hall to each other to communicate.
