Very cool store, with products and brands I’ve never experienced before. The prices are affordable and don’t break the bank.😁 It’s not a store for my regular shopping, but more for exploring to find cheaper alternatives of some things I regularly buy. If that makes sense 🤣
Overall, we love having a grocery store nearby. Our kids love shopping here with us, using the little kids carts, and the stickers!
There have been a few bumps to work out- once an item wasn’t ringing up a price, and it took for-ev-er to get it looked up. I’m not exaggerating, it was an embarrassingly long time, and I felt so bad for the huge line of people gathering behind me that I just said forget it. And it was for an item near the front! They wouldn’t allow me to grab a picture of it myself really quick to show the labeled price. Just an odd choice.
Another issue is food being expired. I usually check, but I’m not sure where in the cold-chain it was spoiled, but we came home with 4 curdled yogurts one night that were purportedly 10 days before expiration. Given the experience waiting for a price check, it just didn’t seem worth it to try to return.
That being said, every interaction I’ve had with staff has been exceptionally friendly. You can occasionally get really good deals, and it’s so convenient. Overall a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!
Not as big as the store in Placerville, but it has potential. They are new so we have time to see improvements. But the staff they already have working there; are fantastic. Friendly smiles and happy attitude s are on every aisle.
Drove here today due to receiving an email that showed wild salmon was SUPER CHEAP, and since I have a son who trains, he needs all the protein he can get.
An employee here marked it down further after seeing it expires soon (on my birthday), so I bought it all💁🏻♀️
There was also coconut filled chocolate for a killer price, so after driving home and eating all that chocolate, we drove all the way back just to buy 16 more chocolate bars🤦🏻♀️
Great prices, clean and well stocked store, lots of random flavors of chocolate to choose from; cannot wait to see what they have next time!
They are providing a much needed service to the lower and middle class. I for one have been in direstraights and the G outlet saved my butt by having affordable food for under $3.
