Driving on any road other than I-90 is needed sometimes, and finding this store reminiscent of my own rural, âfind everything you needâ store was quite welcoming. I had the Beef on Weck (Avail Wed-Fri) and it was one of the best versions of this classic sandwich. My friends had delicious, full sized subs that neither could finish and had to bring home. There were tables inside to eat at and the store was air-conditioned, a comfortable and welcome reprieve from the 90â°F heat of the day. I live roughly 2 hours from this fine establishment and honestly want to go back out sooner than later, solely for that great sandwich. Donât hesitate to stop in, youâll be sorry that you missed this step into the past.
Grew up out here used to be a little corner store now it Is a little lunch place but what happened? Havenât seen it open in months
If you want a sub that you have trouble fitting into your mouth, this is the place. Sweet lady running the place, very relaxing atmosphere, you feel south of the Mason Dixon when youâre in here. Beautiful furniture, pictures, they definitely donât run businesses like this anymore. And with the prices that they have, itâs a wonder how theyâre in business. 8.75 for a whole sub that will fill the belly of any working man at the end of the day.
LOVE their soups! Its nice they have doggie biscuits too so I donât get the sad âLOOKSâ when I come out. Great intimate little spot, especially on a cold winterâs day.
Just passing through last week I ran across this gem of a deli! My cold cut sub was to die for! So fresh & tasty! Perfect roll too! Lots of other goodies to try as well! Check them out!
