To anyone whoās potentially looking to join this gym. I honestly would have gave it zero stars if I could such a disappointing experience at this specific location Golds Gym Fullerton. They are literally just trying to take your money and will raise their prices on you every chance they get. I was a long time member and signed a lifetime membership contract over 10 years ago. Somewhere between now and after the pandemic they do not have my contract which we all know is false because everything is donāt by computer and on file. Anyway they claimed they needed to rewrite my contract for no reason at all since Iāve been paying the same amount for over 10 years and right after they did that I start getting emails from them about potentially increasing my monthly payment when in my original contract agreement I signed it said it would never increase. I know what I signed it was a lifetime agreement and all my other gym membership are the same type of agreements. I went in to talk to the staff and they literally treat you like you are doing something wrong by asking them about why theyāre raising your membership fees and when I asked them to show me my contract they have me talk to a supervisor who was extremely rude and then some regional manager who was just as rude. Then they gave me a 3rd party number saying I needed to contact them about my membership and the increase, I call the 3rd party and they said they donāt have any power whatsoever to change the rates on memberships and that itās 100% the clubs doing which they denied even after talking to 6 staff members. The front desk person was the most rude and didnāt even want to allow me to talk to anyone above her in the first place.The gym is always dirty, things are always broken and the weights are literally everywhere. You canāt find anything you need without having to run around the gym. Nonetheless I cancelled my membership and I Absolutely Do Not recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice gym experience and to go to a place where they actually care about their members and people who are spending money with them. I would definitely look at Eos Fitness or Fitness 19 itās cheaper, cleaner and the people that work there are not rude.
I wish to inform potential gym-goers about my extremely disappointing experience with Goldās Gym Fullerton. I am an international traveller from Australia and wanted to join Goldās Gym due to its fame and prestigious reputation. I joined with a short membership that had clear terms that I would NOT be charged after terminating my contract due to the nature of my stay. After fulfilling contract terms and canceling my membership within the required time frame directly with GM, Aaron Chung, I was appalled to discover that they CONTINUED debiting my bank account not once, but TWICE thereafter.
Despite numerous attempts to rectify the situation, their customer service (a third party company not in any way related to Goldās Gym) was not only incompetent but also outright dismissive of my concerns. Their lack of accountability and failure to resolve the issue promptly reflects a blatant disregard for their membersā financial well-being.
I strongly advise anyone considering joining Goldās Gym to think twice. They have shown a complete lack of integrity in handling their financial transactions and have left me with a bitter taste of frustration and extreme inconvenience. After 6 weeks, I am still no closer to having this issue rectified or having the overcharges refunded. Save yourself the time, trouble, and money. Look elsewhere for a gym that actually values its members and conducts business ethically because Goldās Gym Fullerton is not it.
Beware: Thieves are in this gym. May 27, 2024, I got my locker broken into.. my wallet and an expensive watch were unfortunately taken. Came to this location as I was in the area.. big mistake! I wasnāt the first person that today. At about the same time, a member came to the front desk reporting that his whole gym bag with his car keys got stolen as well. Highly suggest management should do something about this but everyone coming to this location should be aware and be extra careful. Iām stunned!
*Note: I went in to change and came back after less than 5-10mins, my padlock was already broken into. Thieves are watching so be cautious!
I been to many gyms in my life, I have another gym membership, when my son decided to sign up, he did his research and went everywhere to try out, when we arrived at the fullerton Golds Gym we met w Alexis, right away we felt at home, Alexis gave us the tour and took her time to show us all the amenities, machines and the escape room (wow) hands down the best equipment the best stretch and burn. As an owner of 2 big companies I can say hands down Alexis is the best person and face for this Gym and brand I didnāt really plan on signing right away but Alexis got us an amazing deal tgat we couldnt refuse, we signed for 3 years.
I love this gym and the atmosphere. If this Gym owner knows whats good for this gym he will hold on to her, or I will hire her to manage my office.

Iām here to confirm that the reviews on customer service are true. I was excited to go visit this gym and possibly switch over but that completely changed as soon as I walked in and had to wait for the staff in the front to stop talking to each other to acknowledge me. I then was received with very vague answers and did not want to give me a tour due to staff being on break. Not even a can you please wait till staff member comes back or at least start telling me about some of the amenities. It seemed to me right away that the staff does not care About their members or potential members.
