We took a 10 mile detour to get some Thai food for dinner on our road trip and it was totally worth it. Very causal environment and great food… specially Tom Yum soup and green curry is recommended to try..
Utterly blown away by the unique flavors and quality of this place. I travel for work all over the US, and this tops any Thai food I’ve brought back to a hotel room. Do not miss out on this gem.
This place is a hidden gem. While they have the standard fare you see at most Thai restaurants, The Golden Bamboo has unique items I’d never seen before, like the khao soi. The food arrived quickly and was all quite delicious. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.
The Vietnamese Pho soup looks Ok but totally tasteless. With water instead of broth (and it was supposed to be slow-cooked) 😉 Beef like chewing gum. Thai noodles – tasteless. I do not know what’s wrong? I’ve eaten at over 100 Thai and Vietnamese restaurants in my life and this one has a level of taste like a hospital for surgery patients. Golden Bamboo! Add salt, soy sauce, chilli, sugar, star anise or whatever else. And let me eat with smile. Thai is the most colorful quisine, not the blendest. Kind regards.
Great customer services, we love the decorations, very clean including the restroom. Delicious traditional food.
