From my experience bringing my mom, who has Alzheimerās, to see Dr Trinh, he saw her as a diagnosis and not as a human being in need of care. He lacked empathy and compassion.
He tried cleaning out her ears but said they were too impacted with wax and gave me some drops for her. His medical assistants asked if they should give a referral to a specialist (which is what I thought appropriate) and he said no. My mom is difficult. Alzheimerās is difficult. He doesnāt seem even slightly patient in difficult situations. Just very matter of fact, annoyed, and cold.
To top this off, one day I received an invoice from my momās insurance company. It was for a house call at her care home. But who made the appointment? Certainly not my mom ā she doesnāt know how to use a phone. I didnāt make an appointment for her. And we got no information on what happened at the appointment- what was it for? When I called the office they said he was already at the house visiting other patients so he saw her as well. I let them know that they should have shared this information and that I would be looking for a new doctor. However I wasnāt able to find one as I live several hours away.
This week I had scheduled an appt for my mom to go see him for another visit as she needs new medications. They accepted the appointment. But when I realized she is no longer able to go out and would need a house call, the receptionist told me that because I had said once that i was looking for a new doctor, he wouldnāt come see her. They said āall his patients that used to live there are goneā. I said ābut my mom is still there.ā They said āhe wonāt see her.ā
Unconscionable.
I recently decided it would be a wise choice to see a Dr that treats the elderly. I went online and did research. Dr. Trinh had great reviews. I also liked his kind face.
So, I had my first visit with Dr Trinh. He and his staff were super.
Dr. Trinh took the time to get all of my history and listened to my concerns. He is very knowledgeable. I am very happy I found him.
I completed my externship from Dr.Trinh office, He is very kind and humble doctor. All staff members very nice .I cannot forgot these people in my whole life.
Every patient I meet has great things to say about Dr. Trinh and his staff. We value his expertise, his kindness and each one of his staff. He is a huge asset to our community and we are grateful for the opportunity to share his information with the families we serve.
The treatment they gave my elderly father was beyond excellent. Iāve been recommending them to all of my friendsā parents. Thanks again for the care Richard Pearson
