I compare all other grocery store prices against Foods Co to see if Iām being overcharged. Foods Co is consistently the cheapest place to buy anything canned, bagged, boxed, or bottled ā I have to make a special call out for their baking supplies . . . INCREDIBLE! They had 2 bags of All-purpose Flour (5lb bags) for only $5! And 2 for $4 for their brown sugar the last time I went. You wonāt find those prices anywhere else.
Their produce isnāt always the cheapest or the freshest, nor are their meat options very inspiring ā I prefer Grocery Outlet for those. And honestly, Safeway is cheaper than any of these retailers for several items namely dairy products, meats, and produce if you use the Safeway app and clip the digital deals the day you go shopping.
The lines here are usually very long, which sucks and also adds a lot of pressure on the shopper to transact quickly at the cash register, and there are no āself-checkoutā options. So if you donāt like stressful grocery shopping, I would consider another retailer ā at least in San Francisco. But if youāre on a budget and need deals, this is your store.
This is the food co. There is too much line to do the checkout and there is just 1 cashier open this is the worst execution we had for Costco can you just explain to us whatās the reason for not opening the cashier
Good Selectionā¦good Salesā¦. Friendly check out and customer serviceā¦special order Bakery for birthday, anniversary etc. Cakesā¦.fresh butchered Meats, poultry, and frozen Seafoodā¦. Excellent produce sectionā¦.many sales Pricesā¦ If the sales prices state two for a certain sales price if you only buy one product you still get the price deductionā¦ Good security presenceā¦.. Large free parking lot with disabled parkingā¦. Near local bus stopsā¦. And very close to highway access
Went there before closing time and security did not let me in. They said they closed at 9:30 yet it clearly says 10:00 pm. They need to fix that or honor their actual closing time. Got people wasting their time come here for no reason.
Great deals, particularly the Kroger brand ā if there were only more registers open ā today is the worst I have ever seen here. Only two registers open and the line goes all the way to the back of the store. And good luck finding any of the items with a digital coupon ā a day before the sale expires that shelf is EMPTY
