  1. FoodMaxx has a great selection of fresh produce. They also have a nice bakery with a variety of options. They have no fruit based syrup, only maple flavors, which made the selection limited. There was only one cashier open and the self service registers were closed, which made the line longer than it needed to be. My biggest complaint about this store is that there are no safety dividers in the bagging area at the end of the split conveyor belts at the registers to protect customers from Covid-19. When bagging your groceries, and there was another customer just before you, or a customer is right after you, you are literally face to face with another customer while removing your items.

  2. They always only have no more than 2 checkout lines open. Forces you to either wait or use these janky self checkout machines. Which you’d think saving in labor would reflect in their prices, but no. You also get hassled by either panhandlers or petitioners upon exiting.

If the wife wasn’t so insistent about picking out her own produce I’d just do Walmart curbside. Save time and money that way.

  3. The older lady with glasses who monitors self check out is super rude. If someone is having a bad day then management needs to move them so they aren’t dealing with people. We shouldn’t have to deal with whatever you have going on.
