I thoroughly enjoyed Foodbar. We go out to eat every other month with our neighbors and we visited Foodbar this month. I had the Baby Field Greens Salad, the Blue Crab Claws (sautƩed and fried) and a Pumpkin to Talk About to sip on.
Service was great but what was the food. I literally got a 4Ć4 Minecraft block of lettuce and they call it salad. The bacon was lowkey fire. But u canāt give me a block and call it salad. Google what a salad looks like so you can get inspo. Service was very good tho, very nice woman.
Hereās my friends steak review- the steak was high key good loved. But why tf was their 6 pieces. I could have bought 3 elf lip balms donāt recommend
For the fellow Chicken Liver Lovers of the world this is your place!!! I always order them when they are on the menu and always fabulous along with everything else!! Sometimes we canāt decide so we just have to get several things and extend the deliciousness for another day. Thank you Food Bar for being so consistently amazing!!!
Weāve been going here since it opened. Wife loves itā¦until last week. She had the flat top chicken and it was fundamentally inedible. WAAAAAYYYY too salty, over done/underdone components, just a disaster. She didnāt mention this til we were driving home. I have no doubt management would have remedied this somehow. I had the lacquered pork and really enjoyed it, even if Iāve no idea what to do with the little tongsā¦I got a kick out of watching another guy doing the same thing and finally resorting to a fork.
Oysters app was great. My son and daughter liked their mealsā¦so. One āMissā out of nearly a decade is pretty good.
Basically this is an upscale neighborhood strip mall place. Nice menu, decent dining room. Itās pricey, but what isnāt nowadays? I guess āgrill at a nice golf clubā is the best summation. Men in shorts, fairly loud conversations, bar stays busy. Itās not a Stitt restaurant, but itās possible to get a table within a reasonable time. Beats the heck out of anything at the Summit/280 area and parking is easy. There are some tables on the walk in frontā¦.a nice option after the retail shops close.
Excellent choice for fine dining in a casual setting. FOODBAR now takes reservations which is a plus. Menu changes frequently and they often have off-menu entrees. We had scallops and hangar steak. Both are superb. Weāve been here three times and all were great.
UPDATE : weāve been here more than a dozen times and still GOAT. Steak was served with a different presentation but amazing. Bolognese also superb ā not your mamaās red sauce ā itās indescribably delicious. Sorry Ma. You will not be disappointed here. We love Foodbar.
