Our stay at The Float Hotel in Palm Springs was extremely disappointing. The air conditioning in our room was inadequate and failed to cool the space, making it impossible to sleep. Despite trying to adjust the settings and waiting for the temperature to improve, the room remained uncomfortably warm. Ultimately, we had to leave the hotel at 3 AM because we simply couldn’t rest in those conditions.
This was not the experience we were hoping for, and I hope the hotel management addresses this serious issue.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Our room had a full kitchen with table, dinning room table, and couch in addition to your other basic hotel features. The overall cleanliness lacked in some area including the glass dining room table. The Wifi was unreliable and slow and sometimes didn’t work even when they reset the router. I ended up having to go to a local cafe to take a work meeting. We used the pool and hot tub frequently and enjoyed the gorgeous views especially at night, thw cabanas, and pool floaties.
The hotel is a charming and classic 1950s property that offers spectacular views of San Jacinto Mountains. This is good for those who want nice and quiet retreat while seeking relaxation. A 3-star hotel that has garden views and access to the hot tub. The rooms are affordable though a bit outdated, the bed is comfy, with microwave and a kitchenette.
Exactly what y’all can expect for the price. The rooms were clean and a little outdated. The pool and hot tub were nice and warm. I will say that there was no management to talk to if needed. I felt like I was at someone’s apartment complex. Also don’t leave your bathing suit to dry because mine was stolen
Everything looks good on paper, but once you start to use the space and amenities it goes downhill pretty quickly. If all you’re looking for is someplace to sleep, this will be great.
Lots of strange smells inside the unit we stayed in that never seemed to go away even with doors and windows open. The hot tub also smelled like it was more chemicals than water. It was hard to enjoy the hot tub because of this.
