I am highly disappointed in my experience here. I came with my two year old a little after 7 am and I informed them that my tires were under warranty. They took my keys and had me and my baby sitting in the waiting area until after 8:40 only to tell me that they couldnāt repair my tire. I only had ran over a small screw and the warranty covered that. They tried to charge me $177 for a new tire by telling me my tread was not according to the State of Alabama law. My tires are only two years old and they are no where near low or balding! I feel like because I am a woman who came in alone with a child they saw an opportunity to try to trick me into purchasing a new tire instead of honoring the warranty. This is the second time I have experienced this at the same location. The last time it happened, they swore they couldnāt fix it and I had to buy a new tire. Now they are doing it again. So I am publicly making it known that this is the type of experience they give to people even with warranties. I feel like itās a scam to get money out of you instead of honoring the warranty. This is unfair and something should be done because even after speaking to management, nothing was resolved and Iām stuck with my tire not repaired.
From start to finish, this was a 5-star experience. I made the realignment appointment online. I arrived on time, and in just a few minutes my car was in the service area. The waiting area is clean, comfortable, and quiet (no blaring TV). While I was reading my book, I received an e-mail that included the work order. Soon after, I received an inspection report. I went to the service counter, paid, opted for an e-mailed receipt, and was home in less than an hour. The Firestone team at this location are efficient and knowledgeable professionals who are also gracious and friendly.
Woman at front desk had big attitude regarding my check engine light. I just needed a code read. Immediately belted out that they canāt take any requests for two or three days. REALLY, takes 10 minutes at most to get a diag code! Odd that they are that busy! The Daphne AL Firestone takes me in right away or next morning. Will never set foot in that Mobile Government St store again!
I wish I could give this place and my experience 10 stars!! From the moment I walked through the door I was treated with respect and grace.
I was there under an hour and my mechanic name was Hunter! He did my car right!The gentleman at the front desk was named Caleb and he was amazing. They have a new customer from this day forward.
I was told I needed to get some work done and I wasnāt pressured into fixing it.
This place us amazing!
We are on a quick 3 day vacation and my splash guard came loose after driving over a curb in a torrential downpour, resulting in dragging plastic and a horrible racket. Called at 7 am, was greeted and adjusted kindly and efficiently. Car towed at 8, and i sat in the waiting area for 3 hours, until 1:15 while many folks came and went. Kindly and respectfully asked for updates. Many of the mechanics were pleasant when i inquired, however the girl at the front and the manager were not at all pleasant or helpful. When i asked the manager, 3 hours later, why i was still waiting, he was quite hostile, which i simply donāt understand. I took my key, went to another mechanic down the road, and they solved the problem in 15 seconds. It might be helpful to note that Iām a senior citizen in an unfamiliar environment, and received little to no friendliness or courtesy throughout this ordeal. Unfortunate.
