  1. Horrible place to sho ! They exploit this community because it lacks other resources. I absolutely can’t stand them . The prices are ridiculous and the so called fresh meat and veggies look like they retrieved it from the dumpster outside. They sell all the exploration materials and the prices are through the roof. The even cash social security checks at a very high rate because they know people can’t get to bank or gave accounts. They need to fe regulated more heavily m People in the Community who don’t have transportation rely on them for simple basic needs but they’re exploiting them.

  2. Please DON’T visit this “store”! We were in Birmingham at the Sheraton hotel and were searching for a nearby convenience store. It seemed okay initially. Until we went inside…it was horrible! There were some shady looking people inside we noticed immediately but I soon forgot about the people when I saw the condition of this “store”. It smelled, it was hot, a lot of the food had gone bad. All the beverage refrigerators were hot. Except for the beer, the beer was on ice! There was a food counter in the back where old cooked food had been left out to rot! There was a lady in line with about 10 daycare kids buying snacks, I felt so bad for them. They deserve better conditions. I wouldn’t feed my dogs out of this place, it was disgusting! My husband asked the owner why everything was hot and spoiled, he came up with some lame excuse that he has lost $2500 worth food because someone didn’t fix his freezers 2 weeks ago! (Then close down until you get the problem fixed). I wish that I had thought to take pictures, it was just that bad. The health department needs to shut him down!

  3. Number one there over price number to a lot of their good so old and stale including their ice cream. I gave them a one because they have great watermelons and they sell newspapers. The guy that owned the place made a statement to a relative one day I was in there and he said they think everything is overpriced when they live in the project. Referring to Park Place Apartments.
