Rooms are what youād expect. Iād recommend the cleaning crew use a bleach cleaner or vinegar solution for cleaning the bathrooms.
Beds were clean and didnāt have stains on the mattress.
The air conditioner made a noise all night. Iām not sure if itās intentional or a malfunction, but it sounded like ocean waves and was great for drowning out the traffic sounds.
The front desk staff was awesome! Everyone was so nice. Thanks to the management for taking the time to properly hire and train your staff. Itās noticed.
I stayed her 07/14 checked out next day. This hotel put a $50.40 hold for incidentals on my card promised to return within 7 days. Itās been 11 days. They still holding my money hostage. When I called to speak to front desk she didnāt know how to help me. Told me to call my bank. My bank said the hotel has to finalize the payment for the incidental charge to return to me. I asked for a manager a lady with an Indian accent came on told me she could send me proof I was only charged the hotel rate. The email she sent me was the receipt when I checked into the hotel. Not the money returned. These people donāt seem to know how to fix this issue. My bank said I have to wait 2 more business days to dispute it. Iāll wait. Then my bank will call them and show them how to correct their charges. Ridiculous. We drove from TX to NY stayed at over 6 Marriott hotels this hotel we wonāt return too. Total nightmare when it comes to the holds on money.
We wanted to stay somewhere nice for our 11 year to have an extra special Easter. I have always loved a Marriott experience. This wasnāt even a Super 8 experienceā¦For 150.00, I would recommend the Super 8 to anyone, with reasonable rates. All staff were rude, had no clue where even coffee cups were at, didnāt know where the key was to even get butter or milk. No syrup for waffles. Didnāt even know how t turn the warmers on for breakfast. Not one staff member apologized for the circus show. They just looked at us like we were in the wrong fir asking for anything. Breakfast started at 7. When we walked out at 7;30ā¦..the guy mopping looked and acted like he came straight from a party or bar. Again, staff was rude upon checking out.still no apology.
When checking in the lady at the counter tried to charge us again after being paid beforehand. They called the owner/manager over and he was nice, but that was about the only person that was friendly and knew what they were doing. They were remodeling the outside, but until they hire a whole new staff, itās pointless. Complete waste of money and would have stayed at home and had a better experience. Horrible Horrible Horrible. A true disgrace to the Marriott name.
The room is Clean, but it definitely needs to be updated. The lights outside in the parking lot are extremely bright and the curtains donāt close all the way to block out the lights nor are the curtains blackout curtains. No USB plugs in room for charging phones and other devices. Update the tvās to smart tvās.
Receptionist is amazing. Infectious smile. Extremely charming and bubbly personality. She remembered us from prior stays. She will brighten your day from the second you meet her!!!!!
