  1. Absolute scammers.
    – I ask them to change the insured address (as my property owner changed address), but they refuse, saying this can’t be done.
    – When I cancel the policy, they say they can’t issue the refund to the card as the card on file is inactive and they can’t change that record either. Yet they could auto-debit the annual premium though the card was inactive (expired last year).
    – They promise to send me a check by mail in 4-weeks, but the check still hasn’t arrived after 5 weeks.
    – Now they just say we’ve issued it, and do not provide any tracking number and can’t guarantee recipient acknowledgement.

  2. The ABSOLUTE WORST company to work with that if I could give 0 stars I would, avoid at ALL costs!! My tires/rims were stolen off MY property which you think renter’s insurance would be of ANY help at all – false! First & foremost, I couldn’t get a hold of ANYONE for 2 days even with repeated calls. When I FINALLY got someone on the line, Bailey had told me that my adjuster would be a woman named Lisa. Lisa was an absolute HEADACHE to get a hold of. Besides being completely unaware of being my adjuster for my case, she did not know ANY policy related information. She was very condescending & repeatedly kept saying “let me make it clear” before every statement which was so frustrating. She said she would look into the case further and would call be back the next day. Next day comes, NOTHING – no call back, no email, no type of communication like she said she would. So I decided to reach out again via phone because the website kept saying I was unable to log in with my email and policy number at that. I spoke with supervisor Steve who ended up being just as bad – monotoned and kept saying “you are not covered” with no knowledge or explanation of why I wasn’t even when I asked MULTIPLE times. I was passed around to THREE different reps & it took 3 days for my so called “adjuster” to contact me back without even being useful!! The case still has NOT been resolved or documents that I’ve requested still have not been sent to me – it’s been almost over a week!! A WHOLE NIGHTMARE AND A HALF.

  3. be careful. they conduct a dishonest business. I has been more than 1 year I left a rental place and after trying to unsubscribe this company still charging me to a place that I don’t even live anymore. My best advice is stay away from them. I will now need to spend hundreds of dollars with lawyers to setup a lawsuit

  4. This insurance company is HORRIBLE when it comes time to pay out. I just canceled today! 40,000 policy I was paying for and they didn’t even want to pay for patio furniture that was lost during the hurricane or food spoilage. Also, the other company that they work with American mutual was just as bad. This is the company that most apartments will offer you, but it’s best to try to find your own.

  5. My lease ended 5/24 and my policy was renewed without my awareness. I was notified on 7/7 of and called on 7/8 and the agent reported that only $10 out of a $200 auto payment could be returned. Their processes are designed to fool customers into paying for unnecessary coverage. I would also like to recognize Walter Dng for particularly poor customer service.
