Even under construction this place is gorgeous. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. A room you want to spend time in! They were doing happy hour specials too which was a nice touch (not sure if it was for construction or they always do that) and my husband loved the house sangria. Good location next to all of the wine country things we wanted to see.
We had a great stay at the Embassy suites in Napa Valley. Our room was spotless and the bed was outstandingly comfortable. We got tickets for two drinks each every night. We stayed for happy hour. They had food also for happy hour available at no additional cost. Every morning they had a wonderful breakfast layout and someone there making omelettes or pancakes, etc. for you. The food was excellent. Coffee was great. Tea was good. They also had yogurt and fresh fruit. checking in and check out for extremely fast and easy. Unfortunately, I didnāt take any pictures, but it was a great stay and very close to the wine train which was important to us.
This was my 3rd time staying at this property & I was very disappointed with our stay this time. We were just a few rooms down from the construction & requested to move but another room was not available. We unfortunately were not able to get a newly remodeled room. The parking lot had many campers where the construction workers were staying & they all seemed to join us for breakfast every morning. I wish I would have known the pond area was closed as well, that was one of my favorite parts. Weāve stayed in many Hiltons as diamond members & this was one of my least favorite stays. They are saying itās going to be at least another 2 years of construction, so Iāll plan to stay at a different property next time.
When you book a 2 Room King Bed suite with an atrium view, you expect a view of the atriumā¦.not the elevators. The hotel had so many rooms and didnāt seem crowded at all. If we didnāt have a dinner reservation and had been staying for more than 1-night I would have asked to move.
The jets in the spa had no way to direct the direction so you were not getting any benefit and just a bunch of water splashing in your face and over the edge.
The happy hour and breakfast were good.
Awesome hotel ā if you get one of the newly renovated and remodelled rooms. We did. And the rooms are over the top: all new. Looks new. Smells new.
I personally do not fancy the new electronic toilet that blows air and water with a light show while you sit there. But okā¦ some people like it.
There is no manual as to how to how to control it.
There is a sensor under the bed turning the light on under the bed as you approach or leave the bed. I find it really annoying at nightā¦ and there is no way to turn that effect off.
There is no sign to put on the door for privacy ā but a small button you need to push that then turns red outsideā¦.
We did find the sensor and covered it. So no more automatic light at night.
Even though there are features that I personally do not like, it is still a five star room. Absolutely.
I would however make a manual to us older folks to find the way around all the smartness of the room.
The staff is great ā all around.
When booking here make sure to ask for the new rooms when booking. Else you will get the old rooms.
