Whatever you do, do NOT stay at this hotel. This was the dirtiest, most run down hotel I have ever seen. There were roaches in the breakfast area, the carpets are old and so disgusting that they felt wet from all the nastiness. There are stains all over the walls, bedding, curtains, furniture, etc. The remotes in our room did not work. The refrigerator barely worked. But the most disappointing part of the whole experience was customer service. I have left items in a hotel before and never had any issues with getting the items back. I left yesterday morning at 6:30 AM and realized I left extremely important and expensive medication in the refrigerator two hours later. I started calling immediately and provided them with a Fedex account number so they could send it to me. They claim it’s not there. I know it is and if it’s not then one of the employees took it. I was on hold for over an hour waiting on someone to go to the room to check, they came back and told me the only thing in there was Dr Peppers and Gatorade . . . then when I inquired into what room they checked it wasn’t even the correct room. They claim they went to the correct room and it wasn’t there. I have zero confidence that this place even checked even after talking to a manager. I called the main Embassy Suites corporate office and they were zero help as well. The medicine didn’t just walk away. It’s there or someone took it and no one at Embassy Suites has been any help at all
Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!
EDIT:
As I told your employees multiple times, it was in the refrigerator on the shelf where the freezer would be if the refrigerator had the freezer door. Ours didn’t! You wouldn’t see it if you didn’t bend down to look. Regardless, it was there when I left so it’s either still in the refrigerator or someone took it or threw it away. Did you actually go look in the fridge yourself? You are the hotel manager I would think you would want to verify yourself at this point with a customer leaving a bad review.
Only here for the night for work but the only thing I really liked was the happy hour. The bed was comfortable but it definitely needs so upgrade. There is alot of rusty lamps, there is a muggy feeling in the room probably carpet 🤷🏽♂️. Elevators need some cleaning and I left at 5am and the hot water must of not been awake at that time 😆 but if you looking just for a good night sleep, you’ll get that.
My family and I had been eagerly anticipating our stay at this hotel all weekend. We booked with high hopes, but upon arrival, we were informed that the pool would be closed for the entire weekend. I requested a refund, but they stated they could not provide a full refund. I expressed that this was unfair, as the closure should have been noted on their website. Despite this, we decided to stay rather than argue further.
The lobby is stunning, featuring a garden, waterfall, and fishpond. The complimentary drinks and snacks were delightful, although the drinks prepared by the gentleman were much better than those made by the lady, which were watered down. We stayed for a couple of days. The room was adequate, but for the price, I expected better updates. The bed was hard and caused back pain, while the sofa bed was actually softer. The chairs, floors, and couch had stains and desperately needed steam cleaning. Our room faced the interstate, offering a beautiful view, but the noise made it difficult to rest. I wish the windows were soundproof. The janitorial staff member was downstairs arguing loudly with her boyfriend on the phone, which I found to be quite unprofessional. Aside from these mention incidents, the hotel was nice.
The breakfast was quite good, but adding bacon and salsa to the buffet would enhance it. The white substance that looked like cottage cheese turned out to be quite tasty. Adding some color to the tuna and like mayo so it would not look so watery would help customers identify it without having to ask each other what it it.
. We very much enjoyed Ruth’s Chris’s Steakhouse in the hotel. The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly. Breakfast area was not cleaned very well. Tables were sticky. Waffle iron looked like it had never been cleaned.
I can only speak from my personal experience. I received exemplary service from the front desk staff as well as the maintenance and cleaning staff. The breakfast was great and my room was quite nice. The hotel is, indeed, a little dated, however, the bed was comfortable. The shower was great. for some weird reason I had three sinks and a conference table, which was nice. The TVs were new and had perfect reception . The pool was open, albeit a little chilly. And you can’t beat getting Ruth’s awesome Lobster Mac n Cheese without leaving the hotel.
I don’t know. I rather enjoyed my stay. Would absolutely stay again.
I suggest if you feel like being super bougie, try the valley.
