The entire DSLD team was detailed oriented and ensured all the documentation was in order. They were prompt to responding to any and all questions. This made me feel at ease and confident with each and every decision I had to make. If you’re looking to purchase a home, I would highly recommend DSLD!
The mortgage process started out smoothly and the local contact Rafford was great. Somewhere in the process of obtaining the mortgage DSLD must have changed the loan approval person in Baton Rouge (home base). Whitney was not organized with the paperwork requirements. This became very important to us because we were staying 1.5 hrs away and did not have access to a scanner nor a lot of the papers being required.
We were waiting for the loan approval and house completion so important papers and such were in storage. It was a process to get the required information needed for loan approval and this was explained many times. We would get the papers and bring to the office locally and the next day get an email for additional documents. Very frustrating. If Whitney was in training then maybe DSLD should have had someone precepting her and there should be a list of required documents for this process.
My experience with DSLD was a great experience anytime I had questions they were always ready to answer. If I wanted to see the house to show friends and family they always assisted. They worked well with my realtor which made it possible for me and my family to have a smooth transition as we prepared to start our new journey.
Nicole Lefort is awesome. Very knowledgeable with technical questions. I was deciding between DR Horton and DSLD and Nicole’s responses to my questions did it for me with my decision to purchase with DSLD Keep up the great work
Sales and the Superintendent were great. DSLD Mtg and software system were beyond awful Disclosure processing was abusive Detention pondsshould be lakes and Lots are too small and yards too small esp side and back areas
