I see Dr. Mick for myofascial pain. I have fibromyalgia and painful trigger points and I was experiencing excruciating pain in my left arm for over a week. After I saw Dr. M, my pain was reduced by 85%. He did acupuncture, cupping, & laser therapy. He is very knowledgeable & I highly recommend him. I’ve had acupuncture before, and I’ve never had as much relief as I did with Dr. M. He also has herbs & products to help keep the pain at bay. He treats the cause of the pain & not the just the symptoms.
I originally started seeing him for migraines and this was the only thing that reduced them long term. I’ve been in almost every medicine and even quarterly injections. I was coming back to hopefully find the business still thriving so I can come back for another session. Truly set apart from other practitioners and u can’t wait to return! Highly highly recommended.

I took my daughter into Dr. Mick after complaining about pain all over. He was immediately able to pinpoint the issue where as her regular doctor could not after running several drawn out tests. Dr. Mick is an extremely knowledgeable Naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist that has been treating my husband and I since we moved to Huntsville from Southern California last year. My family has been to MANY holistic doctors in both CA and Northern Alabama, but were so grateful to find Dr. Mick at Monte Sano Healing Arts. He’s very skilled at determining the root cause for pain and other issues, and uses uses a variety of modalities to treat patients including acupuncture, cupping, lasers, herbs, supplements etc. His treatments have helped my digestive issues and pain tremendously. Huntsville is extremely lucky to have a holistic practitioner with Dr. Mick’s level of clinical and academic experience. I highly recommend this practice.
