Great staff!! I was traveling through Montgomery and decided to get a workout in. First impression, was very pleasant. Everyone one had a smile, and I really felt welcomed. After my workout, I discovered I’d misplaced a personal item. I began to back track all my moves, and to no avail, still couldn’t find it. I then notified the the staff and left my number in case it was found. The next morning I had to leave AL with no call. My work had me traveling to Ga next. Two days later I received a very cheerful phone call from staff saying my item was retrieved and I could pick it up at my convenience. By then, I was hundreds of miles away but asked if they could mail it to me and offered to pay any expense. With no hesitation she took my information and insured me that it’ll be sent out the next day.
I’m so grateful for everyone I encountered at your location. You went over and beyond to communicate and insure me the return of my item and you delivered.
I most definitely recommend your location it’s safe and warm, will return again when in the area.

The atmosphere is always inviting. Nice, recognizable evening staff and administrators. Restrooms and locker rooms are clean, and the cleaning lady is there daily in the evenings. Parking is tight after 430p. A few machines downstairs could use an update. I love this Y, but it could use a few simple in-house updates to make the experience much better.
The downtown location is my personal favorite. I love the staff and the members as well. Although the building is not the most modern, the facility is completely remodeled and furnished with up to date exercise equipment. This location opens at 4-4:30 in the morning, and is the only location in the area with a steam room. The downside to this location is the fact that the steam room can be hit or miss in terms of temperature. All staff aren’t trained in knowing appropriate steam room temperatures and all do not have the authority to adjust.
The staff here are so welcoming and very helpful.
Great place to go get fit. I went at 6pm and the manager there was awesome. I highly recommend it.
