I was looking for a new mechanic and chose Downey Car Care Center based on great reviews. So glad I did. My car was inspected. I was provided with diagnostic info and pictures. Their system for confirming and authorizing repairs is very streamlined. I believe the cost was more than fair. My car sounds and runs great, and came back to me with a nice car wash. Really happy with the service. Highly recommend.
Had a synthetic oil change completed and wanted car wash after which used to be free but now apparently we are now charged $15 which is not a problem but apparently the $15 you’re paying for does not include vacuuming of the mats and you just a quick wipe down of the dashboard. I understand that things are expensive but if a full wash is not what we are getting then why not tell us so we have the choice to decide either half a wash or nothing at all.
Great service as always. Mike is one the reasons why I continue to go back. He’s knowledgeable, understanding and doesn’t try to squeeze in unnecessary work on my car (whenever I know this is happening, I won’t return to the mechanic). Pricing is fair and the work they do is long lasting. I’ve had my radiator, break pads, disc’s and hoses replaced and have not had one problem with their work. They are busy for a reason and even so, their turn around time is very reasonable considering the traffic these guys attract.
Usually quick and good service. Never had a bad experience here. They offer coffe and snacks in their office while you wait.
I always add a car wash too with my service- a good hand wash for a good price through the neighboring car wash center 😁

Spoke with Dana and he was very helpful and very accommodating. My schedule was very tight and he made it work to fit my schedule. I did a lot of research prior to contacting Downey Car Care Center and found Downey Car Care Center to be much more affordable price wise and that is even after adding the tire road Hazzard warranty. They are friendly and very professional. Dana’s Customer Service is an A+. I am very satisfied customer 😊. I will refer my friends and family for sure..
