Arriving to the hotel we were so excited everything looked so nice. I went inside to check in and waited nearly 1 hour in line to obtain my already reserved room.
I specifically chose this hotel because the description said it had a bathtub and I do not have one at home. The bathtub drain is broken AND THE DRAIN IS COVERED IN RUST and when we called the front desk after check in around 8 pm they said to call at 6 am to ask the handy man to come fix it! They did not apologize or offer a room with a working tub or anything. They could have cared less.
I also have never been in a hotel that only provided one communal microwave for all guests to use. To top it off they charge $25 for each hour if you request a late check out. AND you have to pay an additional $18 per night to park your vehicle in their lot!!! Which was completely empty and I definitely see why.
The staff was rude, unhelpful and did not care at all!! Honestly I would have liked the hotel and we come here often for medical procedures and are looking for that great hotel to stay at consistently but sadly this will not be it. Had the staff cared at all this could have been a completely different experience.
Avoid! Very Disappointing Stay! Hotel is extremely dated for the price they are trying to charge. Low value. Rooms share balconies with other rooms. This leads to a safety concern and an overall lack of privacy. We had to move rooms due to this issue. Both of the AC units didn’t work efficiently and neither room ever got down to the desired temp on the thermostat. We woke up hot every single night. They also charge $18 a night to park your car in a huge, unsecured lot. Basically just a money grab! The customer service we received was an absolute joke! If I hadn’t have prepaid for the room, we would have check out early and stayed anywhere else!
The whole property, but particularly the rooms, was very old fashioned styled. The rooms were serviceable, and the beds were fine enough. I liked the lobby area that had plenty of seating room to hang out, a bar, and a pool table. The restaurant dinner was pretty good in my opinion. Location is also near a lot of things. Pool area outside is also nice. I would recommend this hotel.

Minnete is the sweetest concierge, and remembered me from my last visit before the summer! But… There were many CONs!:
Unfortunately, we had problems with the plumbing on BOTH stays. This stay, the toggle from the bath would not drain, so I was unable to take a shower in the morning. I was so upset that I left a dress in the closet. I contacted both the hotel and their online service, and a month later, my dress still has not been found.
I know it was in the closet, so, someone on staff knows where it is, but I probably won’t see it again.
Also, the plumbing should not be a problem when you pay to stay anywhere!
I liked the property and the staff, but, I’m disappointed with the maintenance and house keeping. The curtains were gross, and the desk chair was nasty and I had to cover with a towel to even sit.
And we paid for late checkout, but the housekeepers kept banging on our door, so we left. Not cool.
A Perfect Wedding Stay
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Sonoma Wine Country DoubleTree in April for our wedding, where we booked multiple rooms for our families. This review is long overdue, but our outstanding experience truly deserves significant recognition.
From the moment we arrived, the hotel proved to be the perfect venue for our large group. The spacious areas for gathering made it easy and enjoyable for everyone to meet and spend time together. The restaurant served an excellent selection of food.
However, what truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional service provided by the front desk staff, particularly Minnete and Steven. They went above and beyond to ensure that this significant moment in our lives was special. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made every interaction memorable. From check-in to check-out, they consistently brightened our days with their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist.
Thank you, Minnete and Steven, and the entire team at the Sonoma Wine Country Doubletree, for making our wedding stay truly remarkable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
