I’ve always wondered what it would be like to stay at a classic Palm Springs hotel, and this exactly had this vibe!
Hospitality was GREAT. They serve drinks for happy hour + always have snacks available for guests. I love how the bagels and oats were from local shops, and they were good! Had unlimited water, juices available :).
Amenties were great and we used the jacuzzi + fire pits + lounge chairs. Since Ralph’s was nearby, we even bought s’mores to make =]. We bought lots of campfire sticks, so if you end up coming to Desert Riviera Hotel soon, there’ll be some left for you ;-).
Wifi was strong overall and I was able to get a lot of work done.
I came to this hotel without a car. We used the cruiser bikes one day to stroll around town from coffee shops to the art museum. I love walking, and one day, we also walked to Downtown – very doable (~1.5 miles each way).
The Desert Riviera Hotel is truly a gem! Its grounds exude an intimate, tranquil, and inviting atmosphere. Steve, our host, goes above and beyond, embodying warmth and helpfulness. The camaraderie among guests adds to the sense of intimacy. The heated pool and jacuzzi are delightful amenities, and the availability of bikes for town exploration is a plus. Its proximity to downtown and the Indian Canyons makes it an ideal location. The property impeccably preserves Palm Springs’ iconic mid-century vibe. I look forward to my next stay at the Desert Riviera Hotel!
A hidden gem in Palm Springs! We usually stay at a Marriott or Hilton, but this will be our go to place from now on. The service, atmosphere, and rooms were so welcoming. Thank you for a great stay.
My wife and I stayed this weekend at the Desert Riviera Hotel, to celebrate her birthday and I must say that we were extremely satisfied with our experience. From the moment we were on our way to the hotel we got some traffic, so I called to let the front desk know we were getting in a little bit later than expected. I spoke with Garrett and he was so friendly and helpful, assured our room was ready for us when we arrived(thank you Garrett you were awesome). As we walked in, we were greeted by the beautiful view of the green landscaping around the pool. They have bikes, grills, pizza oven, daily popcorn, fire pits, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. all available for guest use. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed. My wife and I appreciated the attention to detail and the comfortable amenities that made our stay so enjoyable. What truly set this hotel apart, was the exceptional staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were friendly, helpful, and always available to answer any questions or provide any assistance that we needed(Gracias Adriana, Sara, Leo, Corbin,Tracy and Monica) Overall, I highly recommend the Desert Riviera Hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch hotel to relax, enjoy or just to get away from the crowded atmosphere in Palm Springs California. We will definitely be returning to this hotel every time we visit Palm Springs! We give it a 10⭐
Spent 2 nights here last week and it was another wonderful visit! My husband and I took our niece for a little getaway before she goes back to school. Upon our check in we met with Terri who gave us a tour of grounds and our room. She was very pleasant and accommodating. The next morning we met Steve, who was working the front desk and attending the continental breakfast area. He was very friendly and we enjoyed talking to him every morning. We also loved that the rooms all face out to the pool and they had an array of dvd’s, books and magazines to borrow. We liked having a kitchenette in the room. I loved the mid century decor! This was my second time staying and based on this visit, it will be my dedicated hotel when visiting Palm Springs! Desert Riviera Hotel is truly a hidden gem!
