After scrambling to finish preparing our house for termite tentingā¦ā¦and then driving a few hours on packed freeways out to Palm Springsā¦ā¦we were pretty frazzled when we first walked into Descanso. But after just a few minutes there, our stress literally melted away! The setting is positively magnificent. The gardens surrounding the pool are so tranquil. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and attractively furnished. The staff is welcoming and endlessly accommodating. All thisā¦ā¦and complimentary breakfast, lunch and snacksā¦ā¦so we could enjoy the whole day in this wonderful mecca without interruption. Yes, weāll definitely be back!!!
We just finished an awesome weekend staying at Descanso with friends. We loved everything about itā¦Comfortable room and environment, the cleanliness of the grounds and whole property, the very attentive and helpful staff. Great breakfast as well.
The lunch by the pool was a great perk as well.
The size of the property was great tooā¦ a quiet oasis in the desert, easy to mingle and meet other people.
We will certainly be back!
We were truly blown away by our experience at Descanso. We loved it so much that we extended our stay with no fuss.
The staff were all so helpful, friendly and attentive. Shout out to Maxwell and Dustin for always greeting us with a happy face and answering any silly questions, and special mention to Bob for the breakfast service.
Our room was large and very comfortable and the pool was the perfect place to socialise and make new friends.
The included breakfast and lunches were tasty and made meal times very convenient and the cantina stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks is a great touch.
We would 100% recommend Descanso. We were very sad to leave such a relaxing and fun place. We will be back!
This amazing hotel and amazing staff (Charles, Maxwell) really sets this place apart from other places. The property grounds are beautiful and the rooms are spectacular. The amenities provided are out of this world and additionally itās the little extra touches which really set everything apart. Canāt wait to go here again!
The management, Charles and Maxwell in particular, were wonderful, helpful, and kind. The room was beautiful, a suite with a bathroom having both a separate tub and a gigantic shower. The poolside happy hour was fun because people loosen up (even more) and are very friendly. Itās an oasis within Palm Springs.
