Dilapidated and gross outside and in. I didn’t want to stop here but we needed a restroom break and food. The tostada bases were fried in rancid oil and we ended up only eating the barely-edible toppings.
Lots of transient clothing strewn outside the door and the restroom was disgusting. Why don’t they put a code on the door like the other restaurants in Midtown? We will not return.
We frequent this Del Taco and usually have a great experience. However, tonight there was a mix-up at the drive-through, but Malaya handled it exceptionally well. She corrected our order with a smile, wished us a good night, and didn’t overwhelm us with questions. We left feeling grateful for her understanding and excellent service.
All I know is that the food was okay. Atmosphere was um ……. But the customer service was outstanding. Can’t remember her name, night shift, working in the Drive-Thru, probably the only one working from the looks of it. But you did a outstanding job; thank you for putting up with my tap an pay and all the other issues I had brought through the drive through. You Rock and deserve a raise!!
It’s alright. I’ve definitely been in better Del Tacos at other locations, like Chico.
My burrito was soggy. I was the only customer there. The drive thru was even empty, but I had to wait awhile.
The staff was friendly enough.
How are people reviewing this location as any more than 3 stars…? Over the last few years, this location has been diminishing in quality. The service during late nights is super long in the drive through. I’m assuming they don’t open the dining room because of the loitering people in the area. Recently I tried going there during the day since they have 1 item I’ve always enjoyed. It was terrible. The food quality has dropped and the place is ran down and surrounded by homeless people. I highly recommend somewhere else.
