Went in to the front desk to book a room. First of, the lady behind the desk was extremely unfriendly. Once I booked the room, I parked and went inside. As soon as I went inside, the horrible stale and moldy smell in the room, just about made me nauseous. Then as I began to look around the room, I quickly noticed that there were a couple of dead crickets in front of the air unit. I grabbed some tissue to pick them up and flush them down the toilet. I thought maybe a couple of crickets may have just gotten in through the door while the cleaning lady was in the room. However, as I was walking to throw the dead crickets into the toilet, I realized that the room was full of dead and half dead crickets and roaches. They were all over the room. I went to the front desk and requested my money back. The lady was extremely rude, hateful and unprofessional. She tried to say that I was lying and that she would not refund my money. I told her that the bugs were still there if she’d like to go look. Then she tells me that she would not refund my money, only put me in a different room. I told her that I did not want a different room and that she would give me my money back. She kept insisting that she would not refund me. We went back and forth, until she finally refunded me after I became irate. I definitely would not recommend staying at this roach motel. I don’t understand the people giving this place 5 stars. Anyone giving this place 5 stars, must be nasty themselves and not care about filth.
I got a room here through my trucking company for one night. However when I get there it was ok with the check in. Well In the morning I woke up went to get something to eat first of all they don’t have any breakfast only cereal and coffee, I love my coffee in the morning so I ask the lady if there’s any coffee in the coffee pot the first thing she say to me was do you know you can make coffee in your room I was like ok but there’s no water, she say well get bottle of water here and make it in your room. The way she say it is like she didn’t want me to get the coffee from the pot. I STRONGLY SUGGEST FOR NO ONE TO COME TO THIS CRAPY CHEAP MOTEL THEY ONLY HAVE ONE STAFF AND EVERY QUESTION YOU ASK THE LADY AT THE DESK JUST GIVE YOU A STORY TO GET RID OF YOU. This place is horrible I strongly suggest that my company BISON USA find a different location this is my first and will be my last I would rather sleep in my truck next time instead of staying there.
I wouldn’t have even rated this hotel but it made me out one star …we booked a week ahead of scheduled arrival today . When we get there about 30 mins til checkin at 3 went into locked night desk told lady had a reservation through our Wyndham membership. She states the room will need to be cleaned give her 30 minutes which 3 pm was check-in time so ok . Well I wait in parking lot til 5 til 3 pm when the rude lady from the beginning began to tell me my husband and daughter they cancelled our reservation because they didn’t have housekeeper come in .we were two hours away from home and going to a planned event. Thank The Lord there was a cheap motel the only other one that was able to accommodate us . Never go on looks the small crack looking motel is nicer cleaner etc .the days in. In Moulton is not a business and shouldn’t be backed by Wyndham.
The stay was typical in a 2 star hotel. Was charged an additional $150 on my credit card. When I called about the reason for the extra $150 charged, was told it was because somebody smoked in the room. Told whoever was on the phone that couldn’t be right because I don’t even smoke. Was told I must’ve had someone in the room that did smoke. I told her, first, I don’t smoke, and second, I was the only person that stayed that night in the room. To which it was basically, I’m getting charged for it whether I did it or not and she hung up on me. Very bad customer service to say the least. Will never stay at that place again!!!
I am with a trucking company and we use the Days Inn in Moulton for our drivers that are going through orientation. The rooms are nice and clean and the management is awesome to work with. We enjoy the great relationship we have with them and would highly recommend the Days Inn for others to use.
