  1. We checked into this hotel to find the room dirty. The bottom of my socks were black after walking across the floor. There was no coffee pot in the room. I proceeded to find out what the penalty would be had we left the next day only to be told that we would lose $100 in addition to the second night’s rate. This took more than five phone calls to the front desk to get someone who could answer this question.

At check-in, I asked whether the room would be serviced daily with regard to washcloths, towels, toilet paper, etc., and was assured that these would be provided, but it wouldn’t be cleaned unless we requested a cleaning. On two of the three days that we were there, we returned to find that we had no clean linens and no toilet paper. (This was after we called on the way out each morning asking for both.) I called the front desk and was told that they had come to the room, but we weren’t there, so they didn’t leave anything. He explained that only housekeeping staff would enter the room. When we called, the housekeeping staff was still making the rounds, yet they did not visit our room to provide these things.

I went down to the front desk to request these things again. I reminded the clerk that I was told upon check-in that these would be provided. He told me that sometimes they aren’t provided due to availability. This was less than a pleasant stay, and we will not be visiting this location again.

  2. The room was okay. I noticed a couple of stains on the bed, but the bedding itself was clean. The floor where the bed meets the ground looked like it needed to be clean. There was a spot in the shower where it looked like something had been removed from the shower wall and the area wasn’t cleaned properly. The smoke detector had been removed and the wires were hanging down. Aside from those things ( they were minor), the room was mostly clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower had great pressure. We also enjoyed the little pool. There was also a limited breakfast.

  3. The room was very dirty, the floor, walls, door, etc
The mirror was broken, the TV didn’t work. Apparently the housekeeper only makes the bed and changes the towels. Even the hallways were very dirty and the lobby too. I don’t recommend it and I definitely won’t be back.

  4. I knew this place was not going to be good when I saw they take cash for deposit or the rooms itself.

Almost seems like a no tell motel.

Litter all over the exterior near the trees where you park. Musty smell if AC isn’t on. Could be mold or mildew for all I know. Uncomfortable beds. Filthy linoleum floors. Don’t be fooled. My towels turned black from me wiping down after my shower.

Dirty wash rag from the previous guest was left on curtain rod. Need to replace outlets. Worn out. Need to replace weather stripping on doors. Way too much daylight going through causing the room to lose coolness. And let bugs in. Like I had. Sidewalks can definitely need a pressure wash as well as the stairs because they are filthy. I didn’t even bother looking at their “breakfast”. This is a poor excuse for a Wyndham franchise owned hotel. Especially for the expensive price per room and it doesn’t matter how close it is to the beach they definitely need to work on this hotel and put some quality before quantity.

The only positive aspect was that there are plenty of places to eat nearby and the housekeeper was always smiling.

  5. The stay was horrible, my girlfriend who is pregnant and I were given a bottom floor and it was disgusting
mold in the ceiling and dirty sheets and towels so I asked if we could switch rooms so the second room that was a “NONE- smoking”room literally smelled like someone just got done smoking a pack of cigarettes in there. And then our third room that we chose because my girlfriend was exhausted and needed to rest was alright So again the sheets were disgusting and the fridge doesn’t work. We had to go buy our own sheets and air fresheners. The ac unit wasn’t blowing any air and you can feel the air in the room that it felt gross. The sink was falling apart the counters were stinky and dusty. The mold on the shower liners were a disappointment. Then our main door was missing the peak hole was good and they just a duct tape to cover ON THE OUTSIDE
anyone can take it off and on the inside they had a welcome sign taped over it.. never again will we stay at a days inn.
