  1. Absolutely gross. From check in to check out, I have nothing good to say about this place. Also, what happened to the pool? That was half the reason we booked here. I guess I should’ve known better considering it’s a days inn.

Our “queen” bed I’m pretty sure was actually a full bed
The carpet was stained, the tile floor in the bathroom was dirty.. the walls were dirty, the mirror hadn’t been cleaned.. the whole place smelled like musty old carpet mixed with marijuana and cigarettes.
In our “non smoking” room, the smoke detector had been removed and wires hanging from the ceiling still

  2. For the price we paid I didn’t really expect that much, but it’s false advertising to have pictures of a pool on your website when you filled it in with concrete. No elevator for disabled people or families with strollers. You have to take stairs!! Our floor reeked of Marijuana. Luckily it was quiet and we were left alone and didn’t hear any insanity–I actually slept quite well and our room was decent. Bed was comfortable and made up nicely. The maid staff did an excellent job taking care of our room. The main reason I give 2 stars is the false advertising about the pool, and no elevators (when you have a baby in a stroller that can be quite difficult to get to your 2nd floor room) and the smoking being allowed. This is 2024 who has smoking rooms still? Just nasty!! If you want more people to come, like families traveling–stop the constant 24/7 weed smoking being allowed and get your pool back.

  3. Let me start off this review by saying that this experience happened on May 14th, 2024. I booked 6 days at this location online. I was traveling from out of state and got here at around 2pm. I knew check-in time wasn’t until 3pm but I wanted to make sure the place was open as there were no cars in the parking lot at all. For a week day during midday it supposed to slow, I understand that, but for there to be no cars gave me the impression the place was closed.
I walked in and saw no one at the front desk. I rang the buzzer and no one came. I did this a total of 3 times and did wait about 5 to 10 minutes. I wounded up leaving and going over to the Quality Inn next door to ask if the place was closed. The front desk lady at Quality Inn, who by the way was friendly and cooperative, assured me the place was open and that she personally knew the owner over at Day’s Inn. She tried to call them, but it couldn’t even connect the line.
After she told us it was open we went back in and hit the buzzer again and waited about a few seconds before an Indian lady finally showed up and rudely ushered us to come to her. I told her who I was and that I knew check in time wasn’t until 3pm, but that I only wanted to know if I was in the system and that someone was here. I told how long I was waiting, but she seemed annoyed the entire time and made a rude remark back at me saying that check-in time was 3pm. After that my mother made a remark back and we left the lobby to then cancel our 6 day almost 600 dollar stay to go check-in at Hampton Inn Wetumpka, which, though pricier, was 10X better than what I got here.
I have no issue waiting for my check-in time as I understand hotels need to time to ready rooms and clean them. I was more than happy to wait until 3pm, but the annoyance of the Indian lady and the tone she had already gave me and my mother told us the service we were going to get and I was not going to waste my first vacation with that.

  4. This hotel is clean, quiet, and affordable. It is not a fancy place but what it lacks in small amenities, it makes up for in cleanliness, comfortable beds, and MASSIVE water pressure. Seriously, most hotel showers spray you sparingly, but this place has immense water pressure.
