Honestly I use to love this place but theyâre going out of âbusinessâ apparently and everything is final sale but they wonât even let you try anything on and you canât return. This was frustrating considering I brought my family and they are plus size and wasnât sure how things would fit. And Iâve been here before and tried things on before. They still wouldnât let anyone try anything on because they want us to just buy it and not be able to return. Will never shop here again.
Very catchy from the window display, but if 4 people are shopping alone in their establishment, the only one the lady with grey hair is following around is the shopper who has dark skin. There are cameras in the store, so all they really need to do is have the lady greet and assist customers, and keep the second shopkeeper watching the cameras, since heâs just sitting still at the counter anyway. Thereâs really no reason why they must be so blatantly profiling a customer based on color. And once I browsed the store, Iâm not sure if their merchandise was really disappointing or if being followed around made everything on the racks look uglier than it actually was.
I really loved the selection of affordable and cute item and Iâve shopped at this store quite a few times. However, after my last encounter I will never shop here again.
I had gathered a few dresses to try-on as I was going to an event later that night. Once I was inside the dressing room, I tried on most of the items except for one. The reason I didnât try on that item was because there was a tear in the seams â and I wasnât about to pay $40 for a torn (and probably worn) item.
Anyway, I left the items on a go-back rack and this older women (which I assume was the owner) immediately and THOROUGHLY inspected the items I had tried on. She immediately began accussing me of ripping the dress and asked me why I didnât get a bigger size if I knew I wasnât fitting into it. She then, very forwardly, demanded I pay for the item.
First off, dress was HUGE, and there was no way it wouldnât have fit me. Regardless, it is the staffs responsibility to check items for defects, not mine.
It was a huge blow to be treated so poorly after being a loyal, returning customer. I will never shop here again.
PLEASE DONâT BUY HERE!!
I loved this place here because of the cute clothes but itâs all ruined because of my last experience with the owner.
I came in and wanted to try some new blouses I have been eyeing. In particular I grabbed 1 blouse but in 3 different colors, I asked if I can try them on and get a dressing room. She looks at me and tells me she only allows me to try on 1 blouse because she states it wasnât going to fit me. Iâm a Medium and always have been so I got the medium and she dares to tell me it wonât fit and itâs not my size. She told me to get only on color and will leave the other ones outside if it fits I can grab them back.đĄ
Never coming here again. You canât just tell your customers what to try on and donât. I read reviews and people have similar experience. Please donât support a brand that treats their customers like that.
Coming from an Asian family I can see why people would misinterpret the intensity and brutal honesty of an older asian woman for carelessness or rudeness.. but she really does mean well! Im a frequent shopper here and have lived down the street from this place for 3 years. Ive gone in here plenty throughout the pandemic and these fitting room protocols are only to keep their clothing clean during the pandemic! Ive gained 40lbs over the last few years and she always helps with me picking out what would fit me without trying on/exchange/return due to virus safety protocol. She says the same things to me that other women complained about like âit wont fit youâ with the intention of only being honest since she knows how the sizes of her items run! She simply doesnt want to waste your time haha! All her size suggestions worked beautifully for me and i did not take it offense to her honesty. I hope others can see this and know she means well before taking anything personally. LASTLY- there are a ton of thieves locally so dont be surprised if theyâre attentive. Its not racial. Im asian and got the same attention as anyone else in the store
