Dairy Queen – Restaurants and Fast Food in California

Dairy Queen is an iconic American ice cream restaurant chain founded in 1940 by John Fremont Milton and his brothers. It initially offered frozen custard and is well-known for its blended coffee frappes, Baskin-Robbins franchises, and smash desserts. The most recognized feature is the DQ Blizzard, a combination of flavored ice, milk, scoops of cookie and cake pieces, and occasionally, caramel or chocolate sauce. Dairy Queen has experienced expansions in its menu and technology, such as introducing drive-thrus and implementing digital ordering systems. Over the years, it has focused on quality ingredients and added healthier options. Today, it serves customers across multiple countries, continuing to maintain its mix of classic comfort food and contemporary culinary trends.

  1. The picture tells the story. 😁 “What is that?” you say? That, is bliss in a cup. That, is a little slice heaven on earth. That, is a Mint Chocolate Chip Blizzard. “Wait, what?” you exclaim, in bewildered surprise. “Dairy Queen doesn’t have a Mint Chocolate Chip Blizzard!” Yes, they do. But you have to tell them how to make it. It’s a Mint Oreo Blizzard … minus the Oreos, plus their choco chunks. Bam, a Mint Chocolate Chip Blizzard. 😁 Faaaaantastic! 👍👍👍

  2. Came to get an afternoon treat and try the Candy Cane Chill Blizzard before it goes away. It’s a seasonal Christmas time great with candy cane and chocolate. So good!

I also got French fries and onion rings. Freaky fried and hot and paired very well with the Blizzard!

  3. Had an urge to relive my childhood.
There are no dairy Queens in my area so I took a drive down to San Jose. Hasn’t changed much since my childhood. The burger was actually pretty good. A lot bigger than I remember though. Maybe because I got a double. Never tried a blizzard. So I thought I’d give one a try. Not bad actually. I like that. Most of all The young people behind the counter. We’re very pleasant, helpful. Something I’m finding less and less of today. Thank you!

  4. I came here because I had some good deals through the mobile app. $1 chocolate dipped cone and 85 cent small Blizzard which I got in the pumpkin pie flavor.

The taste of the ice creams are very good. The regular price of these items is too high, but for the deal price I paid, it is worth it.

The restaurant itself was very small and quite busy. Had to jostle around to get to the pick up counter. Service was okay.

  5. They have a really good deal going on you get a coke chicken strips & Fry’s+Sunday that can be upgraded to a blizzard for 2 bucks.so it cost you like 9.23 for every thing this is as of the 18th I I’m not sure when it is over though.
