This is NOT a destination hotel. You will not be enjoying great meals and drinks here. There are swarms of homeless surrounding the property. You will NOT be taking nice walks from here. The services in the lobby, SBâS coffee (joke), bar/drinks (joke), food (joke).
So what can you do here?
Sleep! The beds are comfortable and have good sheets, pillows etc. Not synthetic.
Good TVs, normal bathroom doors that close and lock. Normal showers with curtains. It was quiet on our visit. The pool is nice and get this⊠Free laundry!
Two machines were broken on our visit but free laundry! That was nice.
So sleep here, quick drive into town (so many good restaurants). If you want to drink, bring your own.
Oh, nice gym. In spite of some of the drawbacks I would stay here again.
Booked this place because itâs newer. I would advise you to skip this hotel. Pool was out of service during my weekend stay. I was advised to pay a fee and use the city public pool. The location was hidden so it was quiet. The room I got still had bathroom stains from prior stay, bathtub faucet was continuously dripping, and bathroom curtain didnât cover so they put two different curtains on. Mattress was extra firm so I couldnât get a good nightâs sleep. Their attention to detail needs to improve. There are homeless people wondering in the immediate area, though it wasnât an issue. I did see police in the area several times patrolling and also stopped and searched the railroad tracks. This is by far the worst hotel Iâve stayed at and truly disappointed that it was a Marriott brand.
Major ant infestation in my room, and now in my belongings. Itâs highly problematic. Iâm currently staying here and I asked the front desk for assistance with the ant infestation and they never responded. I would definitely avoid this hotel in the future. Upside is the room is comfortable outside of that.
Had a pleasant one night stay. The hotel is new and very clean. The hotel is right next to the freeway and smart train, but I wasnât bothered by any noise from either.(In fact, it was really quiet my whole stay)I did see the reviews regarding the homeless people. I did see some sketchy characters down the street, but not on the property itself. I didnât feel threatened or unsafe either as a woman traveling alone. Unfortunately the homelessness issue is all over CA. I didnât eat or drink at the restaurant, but it did look appetizing and they offer starbucks in the morning. Iâd stay here again and recommend this property.
I stayed here a little over a week ago, I had minor hiccups due to the ac not working in the room , no hair dryer, and the questionable soap that was out of the package. I Called front desk , and was told they would send someone up to look at the thermostat that never turned on.(it must of been shift change) because It was a different person. I spoke to Adriana who was so nice and professional. She immediately rectify the situation and switched me to a different room. Which it was obvious the ac was working in that room. The hotel was clean , staff at the lounge was nice. Thanks!
