1. Drive past this place & stay somewhere else. The hotel is outdated, the elevator was broken when we stayed & had to carry bags 3 floors up. The ac unit in our room also was not functioning properly we sleep sweating most of the night. Staff didn’t do anything to help our concerns & we had to small children with us. Also breakfast is NOT included with the stay. Drive past this place, there way too many options to consider stay here. We checked out the following morning.

2. The entire staff is some of the nicest people we have met. Especially Dwight and Lisa. But everyone was great. I had the best plate of scrambled eggs and bacon ever. We really enjoyed the location, too. So many restaurants and great stores right next door. We felt safe and cared for. Highly recommended! We were in Gulf Shores to attend a wedding. It worked out perfectly!

3. I went with my 2 yr old and we had a lower level floor close to the desk and parking. The Bistro was clean and lounge area was very nice the pool was also clean and nice. There is a washer and dryer there if needed. Publix is walking distance and the pizza place is also my room was clean. I had tried to let them know I was traveling with a toddler and really wanted a good experience and clean close room but Priceline said I couldn’t message them I guess because of the deal. But if they got my message they couldn’t have done a better job placing us. There was big bottles of soap and shampoo and conditioner I’d brought my own but I thought that was nice. We had plenty of towels was warmly greeted coming and going the staff were so friendly especially the Sunday staff I wished I’d gotten their names all the staff that worked this past weekend were great. The bed was comfy all my appliances worked great we had oatmeal I’d brought and coffee they provided I picked up smoothies bottled to even out the baby’s diet while traveling. We had a comfortable sitting area a table for work but meals for her the lounge was nice the restaurant area was clean and so pretty. They made us feel safe and I really feel like traveling alone as a woman with a child they were really looking out for us and I appreciate that so much and I’m glad I switched my previous reservation and got to stay here I so wanted a comfy clean nice experience and that’s what we got. The baby said it’s pretty mommy it’s pretty and she was right it was pretty and clean and so nice after a day at the beach.

4. The check in experience was fine. The young lady was polite and efficient. The mattress was quite worn with large sunken areas on each side. The showered curtain was broken and half detached. The worst thing was the poor housekeeping. Corners in the bathroom were discolored and moldy. The coffee maker had the grounds left from the previous guest. This did not live up to what I expect from this chain.

   On checkout we were asked if everything was all right. She just said that she would tell housekeeping. If the coffee maker is disgusting, she could at least have offered a free coffee.

   I am ever coming back here.

5. The price for two nights at this hotel was $550. The remote didn’t work in our room to watch the TV but we weren’t in the room most of the time so we didn’t bother to complain about it. The cleaning staff did not clean our room. They came & half made the beds and did not clean our toilet. We had to do that ourselves. The worst part of it was the roach that greeted me in the hallway. Now I understand unclean guests will leave roaches behind so I can’t put that all on the hotel but I will say for the price, there is room for improvement. The hotel looks clean but if you are a clean person, you can tell they only clean enough to get by. And maybe soundproof the walls. I heard everything the people in the next room were saying. We opened the balcony door and then it took us hours to close it back because it was stuck open. However, the lady at the front desk was really nice but I didn’t catch her name. There is no breakfast at this hotel either but they do have something you can order from, although we never did. We just left and ate at other places.
