Concierge doesn’t communicate well or keep their word about getting back to you.
The receptionist was wonderful and quite helpful, which is the only reason I gave 3 stars for service.
Location is great for those who like to party and go out at night, but be prepared to pay $40 per night for valet and if you stay for a week like I did expect no sort of cooperation with the amount your paying for valet even though you were communicating with them and waiting for an update since before arriving, upon arriving, during stay, and upon leaving. I still have yet to hear a word about it, even though another message was left to return a call to you. But of course they have no problem taking all the money.
Located in the Gaslight district of San Diego. Staff is excellent and willing to help with anything. Within walking distance to many good restaurants. We were lucky to have the only one bedroom suite in the building, all other rooms are studios. Plenty of room, was located on the seventh floor with a great view of the San Diego skyline.
Enjoyable stay. Spacious Studio rooms. Was able to explore several parts of San Diego via Affordable Lyfts and Public Transportation. The bar/club scene was great as there are so many super close options. There were several families staying there but personally due to the significant amount of homeless individuals in the area I would not be comfortable.
Had a great trip to SD recently and stayed here thanks to a friend that has a timeshare with Wyndham. We stayed in a studio room and it was very nice! Came in handy having a fridge & microwave since we had so many leftovers during our visit. We attended a timeshare preso for free parking and a 2 night stay at one of thier other properties but the catch is, u gotta use it within 6 months and sit through another 2 hour pitch when u get there… booo! The location is a hassle to park at after noon when the city closes 5th street. There’s only 1 possible route to get to valet where u have to loop around the property via the 1 way streets. They really should put a map how to do so in the welcome email. It was a frustrating way to start an otherwise great trip.
Like other reviews have stated, there are some homeless around. No issue while we were there but my gf was uncomfortable a couple of times.
Great location, walking distance to so many restaurants and attractions. Had some issues with plumbing in our room, but guest services were fantastic and quick to respond.
