  1. I’ve had two experiences over the last few years. Both have been great. The last one was my old microwave failed. Clovis appliance gave me a great deal on a new one and arranged to have it installed by a sub contractor, Kris, who was punctual
showed up on time and did an excellent install!! Much better than just being a number at Best Buy.

  2. I decided to go to Clovis Appliances to get new kitchen appliances since, they are a local business within my city and I try to support local businesses. Big, big big mistake. I called to inform them that they need to tell the independent contractor who they recommended to let customers know they need to cover everything when they come out to install kitchen appliances that require ceramic tile to be cut in order to fit a new stove/oven. In my case my house was built in 1987 and my old stove is not as wide as the newer stove/oven. The woman at the store said my age of home had nothing to do with cutting tiles. She should not be in the customer service industry. I never once mentioned the name of the independent contractor and she took it upon herself to look up my name and then, called him while he was at my house still installing appliances. As you can imagine this put me in a awkward position, not to mention the installer. Then, I called Clovis Appliances back and was told the installer told me to cover everything. I told her he did not and I had plastic coverings that I started putting on everything as a large dust ball was everywhere. In the kitchen, dining area and living room. Not mention, none of the windows and doors were open. The air conditioning was running and all the air conditioning vents were open. Why would anyone not cover everything if the installer had informed them beforehand. She basically told me I was a liar and she was only worried about protecting the store’s reputation and the installer’s reputation
And I told her so. Well, guess what. I discussed this with the installer and told him all of this and told him I called two professional cleaning companies and they told me they cannot clean on top of my kitchen cupboards which now have concrete/tile dust . In addition, I now will have to wear protective clothing and glasses in this hot weather to clean everything. In addition, I need to throw my curtains out that have fine particles/dust since, I cannot put in the washing machine. Furthermore, I will be using a handheld vacuum to preclean the carpet before I use the regular vacuum. I use my ceiling fan everyday so I need to clean that first before I can set in my living room. I am guessing the dust will need to be wiped off the walls as well. The worst part, all of the concrete/tile dust got into my air conditioning vents. I am beyond upset. If this store was even a little bit understanding and just listened to my concerns it would not be as upsetting. The installer seems to be good at what he does and is professional. I would still give him 4 stars instead of 5 because he did not inform me to cover everything and the amount of dust that would be everywhere. The store gets a big fat zero. No customer service. The woman at the store even told me I should assumed there would be dust everywhere and I should have known better. The original suggestion I told her to inform customers to cover everything if tile is being cut is a proactive measure that would have saved future customers a headache with extensive cleanup in the event if the installer forgot to mention it
by the way, we make mistakes which, can be fixed. This could have been fixed with listening and understanding!! Proceed with caution!!!

  3. Very eager and willing to sell you anything in the store. Friendly staff who did their best to order my items. Did not follow through with setup and delivery of my new products and ended up having to do way too much on my end.

  4. If you’re in need to replace or purchase any new appliances, look no further.

Great prices, friendly service, and best of all, they are always there to assists you after the sale.

It doesn’t matter who you have the pleasure of working with, you always get the same professional service you would expect and more.

We recently moved into a new home in the Madera area and had to purchase all new appliances.

It was during the pandemic, when lead-times were 3-4 months out. Knowing our expected move in date, Stephane worked with us to place the order well in advance, and even stored it for a month, until the house was ready.

Unfortunately when the refrigerator arrived, it had a small blemish on the freezer door.

It was the delivery person who noticed it, documented it, and within a few hours, Stephane from Clovis called us with an update, and the issue was resolved within days.

After almost 10 months, we started having an issue with the bottom freezer. We called Clovis Appliance and they help set up an appointment with a GE technician.

When the technician arrived, he could not diagnose anything wrong but could see the freezer was not maintaining temp, nor was the ice maker working.

The technician “Julian” was great, explained everything, ordered a new compressor, and schedule the earliest appointment available, which was unfortunately over two weeks out.

The next morning I reached out to Clovis appliance again, spoke with Stephane, and explain our dilemma of not having a freezer for over two weeks.

Stephane took it upon herself to reach out to GE directly, and arranged for an exchange, seeing it was still under warranty. The refrigerator is scheduled to arrive at the end of the week.

You can’t ask for any better service and commitment to a customer than that.

I don’t normally right reviews, but Clovis Apprentice is the place to go for all your appliance needs.

Thank you Stephane and Norma, you set the bar for customer service.
