  1. Lived at Circa LA for 3 years before making my move to Austin. I was in LA for a total of 5 years, the other two years being at 1000 Grand (just up the street at the shell on Grand). Circa has been by far my favorite living experience in my adult life. I lived in the East tower for the full 3 years at Circa, in unit C on the 31st floor. Loved it. The gym is exceptional. The pool is exceptional. The entire 8th floor amenity deck is exceptional. In addition, you also notice that the appliances and finishes at Circa at above and beyond that of the standard apartment complex. You will notice this when you leave. Also the front desk staff (in the East tower) helped me out on a number of occasions when I was out of town and needed a package moved/hidden until I returned. If I moved back to LA, Circa would be my first stop to check rates and if competitive I would sign. Great place.

  2. First of all I’d like to clear up that amenities at Circa are very nice, view and location is spectacular, the apartments are nice, and it’s always very clean here. However, things at our apartment breaks very often and the worst part is that staff always lose our packages. This is extremely annoying due to the fact that we get photo confirmation that our package has arrived however when we go receive it at reception it allegedly never arrived. This happens very often and it is very upsetting and a major bother since we lose money due to this. We have called every number possible that supposedly could help us and asked a million times for help from staff but they are never helpful and nothing gets resolved. It is very upsetting.

  3. The apartments are beautiful, amenities are wonderful, views are spectacular, very blessed to be a resident here. Bryant was quick and helpful to our move here! Pet friendly as well and many fun resident gatherings such as wine Wednesday! Staff are friendly and helpful! Cleaning staff is wonderful!

Issues: Be careful however of stolen packages, which happens to me a few times (expensive items) and the management and leasing team did nothing to fix this. I never received the items or an email/ call back on this issue after emailing for months about it.

  4. My spouse and I had a highly disappointing experience with Circa Apartments. Initially, we scheduled a tour for June 30th, only to receive an email on June 29th stating that they were overbooked and needed to reschedule. I called on the same day and was told they could fit us in on July 1st at 4:30 PM.

When we arrived, the man at the front desk was engrossed in his phone and didn’t notice us until a woman behind him got his attention. He responded that he was so “spaced out”. We sat down to wait for the leasing agent, but then the concierge called us back up to ask if we had an appointment. I explained that our original appointment was for June 30th, but they had rescheduled us for July 1st. He asked for a confirmation, and I questioned whether speaking directly to someone on the phone to reschedule counted as confirmation. He informed me that the property manager was looking for an available leasing agent for the tour.

Ultimately, I informed the concierge that we would not be touring Circa Apartments, despite having a previous appointment. The lack of organization and professionalism was evident, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Definitely feel as though we dodged a bullet with this place.

  5. I really don’t know where to start regarding how awful my experience has been here.. and I haven’t even officially moved in yet. I applied for my unit the end of June. It was labeled as “available now” when I applied so I didn’t expect it to be ANY issues, I was so so wrong. From the very start the communication was terrible, I had to call multiple times a day to even get in touch with an agent and was always told someone would give me a call back…a call that never came. A week after being approved for my apartment, I was told by Bryant, the place would not be ready because it needed new floors that were coming from CHINA. Um ok? When I asked when it would be ready, he couldn’t give me an answer but guaranteed it would be done by the 15th, that conversation was right before July 4th. As of July 16th, I have still moved into my unit. Bryant hasn’t reached out in over a week, I’ve called and emailed everyday since the 7th and not one person has given me a call back. I had to pay extra money to have all my things moved into a storage unit because they lied and failed to communicate about my July 15th move-in date. Since applying almost 4 weeks ago and them taking my $750 deposit, they’ve changed my move in date 3 times without me consenting… the agent Bryant I have has only communicated with me once in a two week span. It’s July 16th and I haven’t even been sent my lease. I was told Friday morning, July 12th by another agent Caleb, that he would send my lease by Saturday guaranteed… do you think he sent it??? NO. I’ve even reached out to corporate with no luck, it’s so unprofessional how they’ve handled this situation and left me to call constantly about an apartment that should’ve been readily available to me when I was approved. It’s like 5 year olds are running this place. The unprofessionalism is so extremely noticeable. With no fault of my own, my things have been packed into a storage unit, while I continue to wait for “china flooring” to come in, with no indication on when I’ll receive my lease and no real idea of when I’ll be moving in, because no one working here can seem to do the bare minimum requirement of their job and communicate. I have to move back in with my parents until my unit is ready and I can’t even get a date of WHEN that will be because no one is available when I call! The leasing manager Manny, does a horrible job of managing anything. He can barely remember what’s happening around him, let alone manage what the leasing agents are doing. I don’t even know if Bryant exist anymore, everytime I call he’s not in!
