I have had the pleasure of interacting with the leasing office staff and maintenance crew at Circa 37 over the past year and a half, and each experience has been exceptionally positive. From the moment I first inquired about available units, they have consistently demonstrated professionalism, kindness, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.
The staff members at the leasing office, Rachelle, Chris, and Emma, are not only knowledgeable about their property but also incredibly patient and willing to address any questions or concerns I have. They take the time to give me thorough explanations and work as much as possible on behalf of the residents. Emma, in addition, puts on seriously outstanding events such as Casino Night, catered brunches with DJs, and food trucks that serve up pizza, beer, and music.
Moreover, Andres, who manages the maintenance crew, is outstanding. He and his team’s responsiveness and efficiency in handling maintenance requests and other inquiries have been impressive. They have promptly addressed all concerns, ensuring that I feel comfortable and well taken care of in my home.
Overall, the leasing office staff and maintenance crew at Circa 37 go above and beyond to create a welcoming and supportive environment for residents. Their friendly demeanor and dedication to exceptional customer service truly sets them apart. I would highly recommend this apartment community to anyone looking for not only a great place to live but also a team of professionals who genuinely care about their residents’ well-being.
Don’t live here! Extremely rude leasing office! I never leave reviews but this is wildly unacceptable. I have lived at West Park across the street for two years and both times I’ve needed the Circa 37 leasing office they have been exceptionally rude and unhelpful. It’s actually mind blowing how rude the skinny man at the front desk is. Today I walked in with a maintenance emergency and asked if he had my leasing managers cell phone because I needed help and the leasing office was closed for lunch. He responded “if I do I’m not giving it to you”…um, okay, I wasn’t asking for it—we are in an emergent situation and I’m just looking to get in touch with him. And why do you immediately have an attitude with a resident needing help? So I said, “okay, I just need a maintenance man, is yours here? I need help.” And he said, “he’s on lunch and I’m not bothering him”…at this point I’m extremely taken aback and genuinely cannot believe he’s speaking to me like this out of nowhere. Even the girl in the office with him looked at him like “what is wrong with you”. He never once even looked up at me from his paperwork—so rude!!!…so I said “okay when he is back from lunch can you please let me know?” And he said “I’m not sure. He’s on lunch”. So I just left. Extremely frustrating. I hear horror stories from residents about him all the time but now I’ve experienced it twice myself. The first time he told me “what do you want me to do about it” after I asked if could help me with my fob not working for the pool a few months ago as we all share amenities. Hire happy people who care about being kind to residents. That unhappy, rude, little man is a nightmare and needs an ego check and a demotion. Don’t live here!! But the team at West Park is great, they always treat me with respect. They don’t make me feel like a bother for asking for help.
Waste of money and time, a disappointing experience.
When I came for the viewing and explained my situation to the manager, I was assured that my documents would be sufficient to submit the application. I didn’t want to waste $120 in case of a rejection, but the manager reassured me that everything would be fine.
As soon as the application was submitted, it turned out that I was misled – additional documents were indeed required. I tried to resolve the situation, but their interest in me seemed to disappear. It became difficult to reach the manager by phone, and although they promised to call me back, they never did.
In the end, I waited 8 days for a response, as someone from the management got sick.
Realizing that I didn’t have 2-3 weeks to wait (considering that it takes 3-4 days to prepare the apartment), I found another option.
I never got my money back.
****Potential Renter Beware of Future Move Out Charges******
Things at Circa37 were pretty pleasant for most of our stay, and I will put a pros and cons list at the bottom to give you an idea, but the move out process is where I feel Circa’s management is taking advantage of people by charging them fees for painting when it’s included in normal wear and tear because of that I had to give them a low rating because it’s just not right to try and take advantage of people.
The issue is I was charged $152.78 for painting, one of Circa’s management team Margo, told me that the paint is supposed to last 36 months and they prorate the amount of time you have been living there, so since we were living there for just over a year they gave us a credit for $92 for paint and charged us the rest. **Disclaimer** This prorate amount for paint is not listed in the lease.
What is on the Lease is, The Landlord may charge the security deposit for the following items, (2) The repair of damages to the premises, exclusive of ordinary wear and tear, caused by the tenant or by a guest or licensee of the tenant.
We did not have damages that were exclusive of wear and tear and I have included photos for people to see. Overall, I did enjoy living at Circa and the pros definitely outweighed the cons but being deceptive in your move out charges is something I think people should be aware of before they sign a lease.
Pros:
-Access to several amenities as well as access to West Park and Purl Amenities (Since Covid, this has changed, only allowed to use the property you live in)
-Pool is great
-Convenient to shopping and Interstate
-Walking distance to several shops, park
-Parking was never an issue
-Soon to be Elementary school
Cons:
-Maintenance on several occasions marked requests as completed when they were not
-Several of the fitness equipment in both Circa37 and West Park gym were broke
-Hardwood floors are installed on 2nd and 3rd floor apartments meaning you can hear every step the person above you makes
-Appliances are awful, they are the same cheap white appliances that always break except in stainless steel to make them seem more expensive
-Little closet space
-People do not pick up after their pets
Words cannot describe how much I hate this apartment. My apartment and my car have been broken into, things constantly get stolen whether it’s my packages or my personal belongings. I don’t feel safe here. I’ve been followed around at night multiple times. One person followed me all the way to my door. There was a break in that happened while I was home.
The apartment itself is terrible quality and super loud. I get no peace. I can hear every footstep my neighbors take above me. I’ve filed multiple noise complaints because I can hear their dog barking as if it’s inside my apartment and it happens nonstop.
Leasing agents are nice and helpful until you actually live here. I’ve been yelled at by them when my dog peed on the wrong grass.
Just find another place to live. I can’t think of a single redeeming factor as our apartment costs as much as a mortgage.
