I went today to buy a Mothers Day gift and will never go back. The sales people didn’t even say hello. I have worked retail for 20 years and have never encountered such rude salespeople. They profile people that come into the store I wasn’t worth their time.
I visited Chicos with my mom on Tuesday and felt like the saleswoman was extremely unwelcoming. Nobody acknowledged our presence in the store and certainly didn’t ask if we needed help or anything. I really hate leaving a poor review but I feel like this store really needs to hire people with better customer service experience.
Beautiful selections. Since Denise the manager left, the staff isn’t knowledgeable, arrogant attitudes with customers in store and on the phone, this is not just my experience I’ve seen others treated rudely. shopping online is more helpful. The Pier Park or Destin stores have always been top notch, shop the Dothan store when making exchanges or refunds. I don’t wish to hear them sing or move with the music. Been shopping with Chico’s for over 20 years. Will continue. Love their clothing line, imo There’s always something new, and I can always find that special outfit. If you shop the Dothan store, hopefully you will have a better experience than I’ve seen in over a year.
I had seen a pair of pants in an email I got from them. I wanted to go to the store and try them on. Long story short, they were cheaper online and the store would not honor the price. That really makes me angry. Then when I asked the sales person which shirt matched those pants she told me “any color that’s in those pants” no offer to help me match pants and tops. So I walked out and will not order online or purchase in store since that is the store that I would have to deal with if I needed a return or exchange. Very poor customer service.
Enjoyed my first visit to the Dothan location of Chico’s. Martina was very helpful & made me feel very welcome. Because of her graciousness, I will return soon!
