Love Checkers! Their fries are super good too 🙂 I especially enjoyed the covered outdoor eating area – was able to enjoy my Triple Big Buford while enjoying a gentle summer rain 🙂
First Checkers I’ve been to in years. One in Virginia folded about ten plus years ago. Great food… best fries I’ve had in ages. Grandkids loved it. It was expensive.. $50 on average for 2 adults, 2 kids. Drive thru was awful.. cramped, hard to navigate. Service was very slow. Ten minutes plus each visit.
I get checkers and even though I think they often over cook the fries often, I’m sure many people love the fries. I just think that, if I wanted potato chips I’d buy potato chips. Assume from that I still continue to get fries with my meals and get a cheese cup just in case I get the extra crispies. There’s not one other thing in their menu that I’ve not tasted and loved. Checkers is a go to and definitely love the food
Long line – out past the the second drive-thru which the order screens were blocked over by computer printed letters, I think it said only for app order pickups but it was very difficult to tell.
Was not yet Rush hour, but I still waited at least 15 minutes to get to the order box. I was told “will be right with you”, when the last car in front of me finally drove up to the window I responded whenever you’re ready I’m ready. Just before they drove off they took my order, which luckily was not that complicated. However when I got home I did notice that the buns for the crispy fish had had the tartar sauce taken off, they could have at least replaced the bun. And most of the lettuce was Brown. Someone with bits of shred but there was also one very long kind of stem piece, that was very unpleasant to bite into.
The employees were all very nice and helpful I’m not sure if it was just because of the extra busyness but the wait time to place the order was too long. Time from placing order to receiving the food was a fast turnaround and I have no complaints.
