Very harrowing experience with “CA” Deepak. I went to him with a Defective notice on my FY 2022-23 return and today was last date to file the return.
I had a significant sum slated for refund. He told me that the money cannot be refunded as Dec 31 date is past. That is simply a lie as per Finance Act 2022. I still kept listening to him because I wanted to see how crooked he is.
Then he told me that there was some income that didn’t have TDS and hence I will have to pay additional 2.5 lakhs in IT but Mr Deepak was generous enough to help me save that amount. How? By investing today in ULIP (the benchmark of fraud and misselling in Indian insurance industry). This again made no sense as investments are forward looking. He kept pushing me to do this.
I thankfully had access to multiple personal friends who are CAs and when I told them this they said “Either he is completely incompetent or simply a conman”. I agree with the latter.
Please save yourself and do not use his services.
We recently visited Deepak Gupta for his services. Attitude- Great, Service- Prompt.
Though, return is yet to come. once it comes, will come again and will give right reviews. Fingers crossed.

Probably it should be Insurance Agent Deepak Gupta. No solution other than selling insurance policies. Haven’t seen any such CA in my life who only sells Insurance policies. Only solution he has for saving tax is Insurance policies. Please avoid visiting and waiting your hard earned money.
Also, all positive reviews are posted by people having only 1 or 2 reviews on Google.
Deepak is a one stop solution for all the tax and ITR requirements. Before approaching Deepak, I had consulted myriad of CAs for my tax saving and other related queries. None of them was able to provide a legal and authentic solution to me as has been suggested and provided by Deepak.
You can count on Deepak for his vast experience in the taxation domain. Not just the salaried people but I have seen a lot of CAs queuing up to him to seek solutions to taxation domain.
I rate Deepak really highly in the taxation domain!!
After seeing outstanding review on Google, anybody can think he must be a good CA. I thought the same before meeting him personally. But sorry to disappoint you it seems all of his good reviews are either paid reviews or reviews given by some known person.
If you talk about his skills
– He has some tie-ups with insurance companies and in the name of tax saving selling policies. What he try to convince you if you have tax liabilities of 2 lakhs take insurance policies of 2 lakhs and your 2 lakhs tax will be waived. Interesting part is tax will be waived based on some subsection of section 10 (which he will say is his secret recipe and not let you know. but actually there is no insurance policy waiver under that). He will try to sell you policies like SBI Life Smart Platina Plus or 945 – Jeevan Umang. If you go and read these policy related document they are giving you tax benefits on section 80C, most of people already utilizing 80C already. It totally means when you fall in his trap – you will take some policy and later realize you at all not get any tax benefits. Another point related to this – he will claim if you take policy in current financial year then also you can get your last year tax deducted amount back (which never happen in reality).
– If somehow you not accept policy buying option, he will tell you have to given 40 to 70 K ITR filling charge upfront then he will exempt some tax amount. But never talk about under what section he will save you tax. Totally fraud CA, not provide you expert advice, always play some tricks/hacks to pull money out of your pocket. I genuinely not trust this guy.
Not fall in his trap. I am writing in detail so people not cheated by him.
