I recently had the privilege of visiting Carver Jones Market, a minority-owned grocery store located in Fairfield, Alabama. I was highly impressed with the establishment.
The store is very well-stocked, and both the exterior and interior are meticulously maintained. They even have a sanitizing station for their shopping carts, demonstrating their commitment to hygiene. There will also be an in-store pharmacy coming in the near future.
I had the opportunity to engage in a conversation with the owner, James Harris, who shared his vision of providing fresh produce and groceries to underserved communities, thereby enhancing the overall well-being of local residents.
In addition to this, on Tuesdays, he offers a 10% discount to senior citizens, military personnel/ first responders, and Miles College students.
I went to Carver Jones today, got a lot of fresh ingredients for a nice Sunday meal! Staff is friendly and the store looks beautiful! 🥰🤗 Thank you for the wonderful bag. I’ll be back!
