The retirement plan is horrible. I have not been involved with them or in construction since 2001. They refuse to tell the 3rd party administrators that I have not been active since 2001. This is a standard ploy so they do not need to let you roll over the account into some other plan that can actually make money. What they are doing is illegal and I have had enough of it. I’m placing a complaint with the federal department of labor since they oversee all retirement plans across the country.
Back in 1999 the unions got in trouble the same way because the unions were not actually placing the money in an account. But they got caught using the funds for union activity. This caused a change in how they handle your retirement. Well it’s time to shake them up again.
