  1. We worked with Aubrey last weekend while we tried to decide what vehicle was the right fit for us. She was very helpful and never pressured us. We came back today after seeing they had a Mazda CX-5 that we have had our eye on. We worked with Tim and the whole process was so easy. From the test drive to the paper work, he was so helpful and friendly. We never felt pressured or anything during the whole process. It was the easiest car shopping/buying experience we’ve ever had. We got a great deal and we’ll definitely be back for our future car buying needs. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have a low-stress experience. Shout out to Tim for being great with our kids too. It really was appreciated.

  2. I give them zero stars this was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had trying to purchase a vehicle. The 2 employees that were helping me they were awesome Jesse & at the time trainee Ty. Those 2 are really good people my awful experience with CarMax was nothing at all to do with them what so ever. Now the manager Irene I can not say the same about. She walks around like she’s better than everybody & when her approval is needed she acts very bothered by doing anything. Not a very friendly person at all. I’ve never heard of buying a car come home with it drive it for almost 3 weeks , of course pay insurance before I left with then after owning “my new car” for about 2weeks I go ahead & register it they give u 20 days so it was with the 20 days. Then same day I do online registration & pay more money into this car I get a message from Irene stating I needed to bring the vehicle back that there was a problem with funding that I could bring payment in full for vehicle ( who has $30k just laying around) or they would try to find me other financing. In that message there was no sorry no explanation to why there was a problem or anything & this was a voicemail. So ofcourse I took the vehicle back but I lost so much money with them backing out on this deal I paid $409 for registration & could only get $144 refund then I paid $250 for insurance & only got $100 refund (this was expected & understandable) & down payment I still haven’t got back yet & it’s been 4 days & to top the whole bad experience off when I went to return the car not one person gave me any kind of explanation or any kind of sorry or anything as a matter of fact the girl Victoria or Valerie whatever her name was was the rudest person in the world even worse than the manager. I’ve worked in sales & dealing with people all my life & I would never let one of my customers leave my place feeling like I did when I left there & still feel. Still not sure exactly why the deal was pulled only answer I got was what I read in the paper I signed it said “funding ” so I would never recommend going to this place but if u have no other choice make sure u ask for Jesse or Ty because they are the only people at that place that treat you like a customer should be treated. Oh & so much for finding me other financing or even trying nobody even gave me a option of even possibly keeping the car. I wonder how some people even sleep at night doing people like this.

  3. Normally I can not stand car dealers/dealerships, sorry but that’s the truth. I avoid them and usually buy from an individual. But, when I came across my dream car online I decided I would give Carmax a try. I had the car shipped to my local Carmax to test drive. When it arrived, I went to test drive it and they were very accommodating. It was raining, so they pulled the car into a very well lit tunnel, had it clean and dry so we could check the paint for flaws. We were hesitant due to the test drive in the rain, roads of the area were not great, but decided we couldn’t go wrong with 30 days to bring it back if we decided it was not for us! Had it checked at the local dealership for the make we purchased, and Carmax even took care of the few small things they found right then and there. When we buy a car I will always look at Carmax first! The associates at Mobile, Al location were top notch! Thank you, April, Jason, and Guy for all you did to make this the best experience possible!

  4. Jackson was fantastic to work with and very patient with the number of cars we test drove. The final car had a battery issue and they fixed it right then and there for us to take it for a test(thank you to the manager, I can’t remember his name:(). SOLD! They went above and beyond. Aubrey finished up the sale and she was as sweet as could be. I love the laid back no pressure atmosphere. My daughetrs were able to learn a lot about buying a car.
