  1. This resort has so many swimming pools and hot tubs, and steam and dry saunas we didn’t get to try them all in the 4 days we were there. The lazy river is pretty shallow but that makes it safer for the little ones. Once you’re on the tubes, you don’t notice. There is a very nice mini golf but again, we ran out of time to play.

  2. Loved Caribe resort with one big exception. We had a problem with the refrigerator going out on us and all of our frozen food went bad before we could figure it out on our own on how to fix it. There was no maintenance for our unit and no numbers for the owners to be contacted to get someone to fix it. Thank goodness we have great husbands who are mechanically inclined to fix things like this. Also, a few of the small appliances didn’t work either. So that was an inconvenience we had to deal with. The inside hot tubs at one point one of the unsupervised kids broke the button so one of those quit working as well. The staff that I did see were polite and nice and the place was beautiful, the beach and marina etc were amazing. I do wish that they would employ someone to actually watch the pool area and deal with the unruly behavior that goes on down there. Lots of young kids with no supervision at all acting crazy, standing on each other’s shoulders, running and shoving each other into the pool, lots of craziness. I also wish that there was a 24hour food area like the deli that was available. Sometimes you just need something to eat really late and don’t want to drive to get it.

  3. Took the family here for a 4-night stay. Condo was very clean, with high end appliances and bathroom fixtures. The views from the master bedroom and the balcony were mesmerizing. 4 stars because the elevator to the pools (building D) stank so bad and finding your assigned parking spot can be very difficult. While the staff walking around the parking is friendly, they are of very little help, because they too don’t know. the indoor pool was suffocating, due to the heavy chlorine smell. The beach is right across the highway. You could walk, we drove. Orange Beach should really be called white beach. The sand is among the most beautiful I have seen. White, soft and clean. We witnessed quite a dolphin show from our balcony. The beach and the property have a lot of undeveloped land around them. You are in the city and in nature at the same time. Love the place, love it!

  4. We thoroughly enjoyed the VRBO that we rented at the Caribe. The resort has tons of amenities and everyone there was very friendly. I especially appreciated the health center and dry sauna. There is a wet sauna too but I didn’t use it. There were a couple of things wrong with our condo and they sent the maintenance guys out quickly to make it right.

  5. The Caribe resort has become one of our go-to spots. There are tons of great restaurants and plenty of entertainment for the family. The units are clean and spacious. However, they are individually owned, so you may not get the same experience from each owner, but it’s been pretty consistent for me.
