  1. We stayed here for two nights. It is okay. It could be a lot cleaner.

I just felt like the whole place needed a good wash. Elevators and carpets in the hallways were dinghy. The floor in our room was sticky and our shoes were sticking to it. And the mattress was sunken in and provided no back support. There is only one elevator, which is very slow. For the nightly price we paid, I expected a lot more.

On the bright side, the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

  2. Pretty decent hotel. Stayed two separate times within a week. First time through check-in was quick and painless. Second time the woman at the front drilled me with questions and was sort of demanding, and it took them forever to just give me the dang keys and let me go to my room. Room itself was pretty nice. Dust levels were pretty high, and floor wasn’t super clean. Bed was nice, and the bathroom and shower was nice. Lots of piping hot water. I tried calling the front desk many times the first night but they refused to answer, or they would just pick up the phone then hang up. Weird! This is an animal-friendly hotel, so it will never rate very highly. Animals should stay outside or in the barn, not in a hotel room. And a barking dog can keep an entire floor awake. Very very bad policy.

  3. Even older hotels are totally fine as long as they are maintained and the staff are top notch. Not the case here. We had an ice machine that didn’t make ice, the door was hard to open, the room had half a roll of TP and no refill under the sink, and the conditioner bottle was full of shampoo so no conditioner in the shower. The TV system is also DirectTV, which meant that in the heart of Alabama on a Saturday during college football season we had no ESPN or SEC due to the fight between DTV and Disney. Not the hotel’s fault, but it was the cherry on top of a rather surprisingly disappointing stay. Spend a few extra bucks and stay in the IHG property right next door. We will from now on.

  4. Even though the hotel is not so new, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The hallways need some cleaning. Breakfast is only to go box and you have to pay extra for it. Location is good close to some restaurants and supermarket
Price was very competitive compared to other hotels in the neighborhood

  5. I booked a block of rooms for a basketball team. Janda and Stephanie were very helpful with any questions or concerns I had. When we arrived, everyone at the front desk was very friendly. The customer service was great was from the booking process to checkout. The hotel is located close to lots of shopping and restaurants.
